The hotel is located in the mountains and every trip to Positano or Sorrento is stressful because of the small streets and turns.

Nothing I can remember.

Everything. The staff is helpful, resourceful, kind, accommodating, and pleasant. The room was quiet, large, and super clean, and the food (breakfast/ dinners) was amazingly good. I had beautiful views from my room. Arriving there was like getting into a piece of paradise. Roseane, the receptionist, and Joseph, the waiter, were especially kind and nice to us.

Our top floor room was so huge and comfortable bed. The countryside surroundings was beautiful, surrounded by vegetable gardens, fruit trees and a Michelin star restaurant. The dining was exquisite, fine dining at its very best. We were so spoilt with the welcoming and did not need anything. Breakfast was superb in the lovely, warm outside area and reception was so helpful in guiding us to locations.

Not much really, It's a 20m drive from the Sorrento coast up into the mountains, the roads are narrow and winding, (but thats the same all along the Amalfi coast). The entrance and road to the hotel car park is tight. It would be nice if there was a common area inside the hotel that didn't feel like the restaurant, just for relaxing, but saying that the rooms were very spacious, the lighting in the room was nice, but the lighting switches took a bit of working out.

This is very much a fine dining restaurant (amazing restaurant) with large modern rooms and a pool, the area is very quiet and rural, you are high up in the mountains but do have views of the sea, there is a lovely kitchen garden for the chefs, the decor is very modern with bespoke Italian marble, breakfast was outstanding, all the staff were amazing, we even had a private tour of the wine cellar from Antonio the fantastic and very helpful sommelier.

The wine by the glass was expensive and it is not 125ml. Also the beer expensive.

The breakfast served in our room was exceptional - such an array of choice. The pool is serene. It is quiet and calm. The staff are wonderful and so friendly. The restaurant was amazing too and would recommend the tasting menu.

Pre ordering breakfast the night before wasn’t great. Breakfast was lovely but sometime you don’t always know what you want to eat in advance. First order you don’t know what you are getting so order too much.

It's a tranquil oasis away from the crowds (so if you want to go the towns on the coast or Naples, plan on curvy single lane roads and lots of claustrophobic driving to get anywhere). Kids under 5 are not allowed in the restauarant for dinner, but the hotel can arrange babysitting services (the lady was lovely). No kids high chair for breakfast, but again, I'd prefer coming without kids anyway - we are already planning another trip without the baby! Also don't rent a big car as the village roads are really tight.

It's hard to describe this place in words. An immaculate hotel with a superb restaraunt. Most comfortable bed and best sleep ever, beautiful pool and yard with fruits, vegetables and herbs that are used to prepare your breakfast/dinner. We travel a lot and this was the perhaps the nicest breakfast in all our travels so far. All of the other little luxuries you can think of (espresso machine, room decoration to the smallest detail, shower etc) are of course included. We came with a baby and the staff were incredibly accomodating - such nice staff! We also had dinner in the Michelin restauarant and it was divine (we ordered a la cart, not the fixed menu).

The location is nice, but to get there is very challenging. Narrow and twisty roads, that don't feel safe with the traffic on it and due to the quality of the roads. Not very easy to explore the area from the hotel and make it an active holiday. Probably ideal for a quiet get away (max 2 nights), when staying in the hotel is the only target.

Beautiful building, restaurant, swimming pool and surroundings. Stylish interior and comfortable room. Excellent food no matter which time of the day you eat there. Ideal place for a quiet stay for 1 or 2 nights, if you are happy to leave out the bustle of the nearby Sorrento & Amalfi coast.

This is not a criticism, as the location is one of the most special qualities of this beautiful property, but it would be wise to choose a small rental car for getting to and from here as some of the mountain lanes are very tiny. We had a mid-size SUV bc that was the best they could offer us as the car rental place in Rome, but a smaller car would have been a bit easier for this part of our trip. That being said, it all worked out, this is just a little tip.

High in the hills, overlooking the entire Bay of Naples, this jewel of a property is an exquisite escape. The small staff who work here are beyond kind and welcoming, the rooms are curated with care, and the food is sublime. I wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere also. It’s away from the tourist bustle right on the coast, but within striking distance of Naples and Amalfi coast. I wouldn’t hesitate at the chance to stay here again.

The food was too much for us. The last two courses we couldn't really enjoy because it was so much food. We took the dessert to our room and ate it the next day! It is a little tricky to get up there!

The facilities, the service, and the restaurant were all perfect. Everything was clean and I always felt like I was being treated. Needless to say, the restaurant was the best. They grow almost all the ingredients they need for cooking themselves in restaurants. It's touching. I'll definitely come again.
