We had a great time at this property, the breakfast was fantastic, the rooms were beautiful and equipped with everything you need, the pool was indispensable for refreshing in Salento in July, and the staff was very friendly and helpful :)

The property is located in a serene olive tree field, yet supermarkets, restaurants, and beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide range of delicious, freshly baked sweet pastries every morning. Everything we tried was amazing! The top attraction is the large pool, which is spotless and maintained daily. The water depth is about 1.2 meters. We were truly pampered with kindness and warm hospitality during our stay!

Very nice stay in absolute tranquillity. Well-kept rooms and very extensive and fresh breakfast. Large swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds and a little bar. Absolutely recommended!

Just loved this hotel. Management and staff great and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a great variety. They will also cook eggs for you. The pool was amazing. Only 8 bedrooms/suites each with a patio 2 chairs and coffee table. Also a drying rack You will.need a car however. We based ourselves here for 10 nights and travelled around. The Beach I would recommend is Tor Bay or Bonovista.

Breakfast was perfect! The pool, territory is big and you have a lot of space available for kids. The rooms are very clean with your own entrance. If you stressed from big cities, this is the perfect place to make vacation. Special thanks to the personal. We would like to come again in the next year.

Everything about L'ulivo e la stella is just great, a lot better then surrounding area, which looks a little bit abandoned and neglected. But you will forget all when you enter here. Great facility, pool and yard, very nice and helpful Mirko & girl from the pool bar. Breakfast is also great. Location too.

    Nothing.

The facilities at l'Ulivo e la Stella are excellent. Main selling point is of course the superb swimming pool which was nice and quiet during our early seasonal stay. The room and bed we had were very comfortable. Parking was free and plenty of space available, while the ability to drive up to the room terrace made unloading and loading of luggage quite easy. The whole area is very nicely designed, especially with the beautiful Italian jasmin walkthrough area. You do need a car though, as the property is located in the middle of agriculture land. Porto Cesareo is within easy reach by car, so are some of Puglia's most beautiful beaches (e.g. Torre Lapillo and Punta Prosciutto) Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Many nice and different cakes were available each day, but also fresh fruits, yoghurts, toasties and other items. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay.

The seating area in front of the room is nice, but when it rains, the water from the rain pipe flows onto the terrace. We also experienced a toilet which did not flush very well, we often had to push the flush button 4 to 5 times to ultimately hear the reservoir re-fill again.

very clean, nice room, excellent breakfast, very comfortable and very quiet.

when we arrive the door was close, we have to call the number an a person came in 10 minutes to open it. They should ask to the guest what time they will arrive so they can be there at the right time. we were disappointed because in the pictures we saw a bar at the pool and we we arrived the bar was closed - they said to us because it wasn't a good day (but it was 30 degrees and just a little bit windy) I think when the season its ending they just close the bar.
