Il Vecchio Frantoio is a true gem. The location is perfect—close to the beautiful beaches around Monopoli and Torre Canne, and within easy reach of charming inland towns like Cisternino and Alberobello. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a simple yet elegant style, with everything spotless and in perfect condition. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh local produce, lovingly prepared and personalised each morning. Caterina is an outstanding host—warm, humble, and attentive, with fantastic recommendations that made our stay even more special. Don’t miss the chance to taste their own Monsignor olive oil and wine. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Beautiful, clean and with a royal breakfast. We loved our stay in that hotel. The hosts were incredibly kind and the fact that we had booked all three rooms made the experience even better. The room were beautiful big and comfortable. At the end we wished we stayed more.

The rooms were beautifully finished and very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. We were the only guests in the place as we were there slightly out of season but Maria, her mum and her aunt had clearly gone to a great deal of trouble to put on a spread that would have fed 30 people rather than 3. And it was absolutely delicious. Cereal, cake, fresh fruit, juice, freshly baked bread, meat, cheese, probably far more that I can’t remember. They told us to use the breakfast to make up lunch for our journey. Just unbelievably kind and genuine people.

SwitzerlandThis is paradise for Breakfast-Lovers 👍typical local yummy food. Primo sale, Mozzarella and Ricotta. A different cake every day. Nutella-Tarts. A huge variety of cereals. Ham, Fruits and so many more that I could write an own book about it. Caterina and family are caring and pampering. All my foodie wishes realized 🥰 The room was so cozy and well equipped. I do appreciate having my espresso when I get up. There are all required amenities to instantly feel more than home. Everything is clean and sanitized. I felt like sleeping in a field of flowers.

NorwayThis property was wonderful, super clean and spacious and the breakfast and balcony area provided sun and shade. The owners were so kind and helpful. They purchased lots of gluten free items for me since I’m gluten intolerant, and gave us lots of recommendations on place to eat and things to do. The breakfast was amazing, fruit and freshly baked pies, coffee, tea - that had it all. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable!

AustraliaI had the most amazing stay! The host was so so kind and generous, she was always offering to help me with anything I needed and organised me a beautiful buffet breakfast every morning. It all exceeded my expectations!! The room was beautiful, comfortable, and clean, and in a great location walking distance to the centre of the village and the restaurants! I highly recommend staying here!
