Nice place, good breakfast and a good location. They were very accommodating with the parking for my motorcycle

The price of the laundry was prohibitive I would advise not using this

Nice, spacious room. Wonderful pool and only about a 20 min walk to the city center. The walk is quite nice as it es essentially still part of the town with shops and restaurants.

Rooms and carpeting could be updated.

The property has the benefit of a outdoor pool. The area around the pool is pleasant. The pool itself looks a little drab- the water colour is a light green so it feels alittle dirty. The close proximity to Florence centre was good- walking distance and down a really nice tree lined street. This was a perk as we didn’t want to stay much in the hotel itself. Thank goodness Florence is beautiful and worth the stay!

Firstly, the room is extremely dated. We walked in to unemptied bins! The doors in between the room was coming off hinges- they also do not close properly. The pain decor had marks everywhere, need of a coat of paint and a general deep clean. The toilet didn’t flush!! This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. When I spoke to the lady at reception she was very rude and explained that the Maintenance wasn’t on site and that she couldn’t do anything and shrugged her shoulders. Not an apology. No outcome either in that day- thank goodness was we were only staying 2 nights. No water the second day either- again no apology or outcome. The inside the main building looks/smells like faulty towers too. I know this as you have to travel through to get to the pool and also when we had to sue the toilet when ours wasn’t working. Shambles. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t stay there again. If we would have had some sort of general appreciation that the facilities were not working- I would be writing a better review. Customer service goes a long way. They did give us a discount when we left but again, that could have been avoidable with some really good customer service.

Hotel is extremely dated, room was more suited to an old motel room. I would suggest 2 stars is more truthful. Balcony was overgrown with weeds so not able to sit outside. Free parking advertised was not available on arrival, had to buy a ticket and park on the road. Staff were unhelpful throughout. In the end we opted to book a room in a different hotel due to the poor standards

Pool was nice to go into after a hot day.

Didn’t feel like a 4* experience. Felt dated inside. Room was visited everyday by cleaner to make the bed but the coffee wasn’t replenished or other parts tidied. Felt quite expensive for distance away from the centre. About a 20 minute walk to the bridges to centre.

The staff was very helpful and kind

I personally did not like the location. He had to take a taxi to get to the city and I also did not like the AC was very warm in the room.

Location was perfect for a quieter place away from the busy city centre if you don’t mind the 20/30 minute walk. The room was lovely and the balcony and pool were great bonuses considering we were there during a heatwave. Also to note there is a good snack bar/ drinks that you can order at and have whilst by the pool or inside which included sandwiches if you wanted to get a smaller lunch.

Being an older hotel, you could tell in terms of water pressure and slightly rundown facilities- however this didn’t negatively affect our trip, just something to be aware of. The pool can get pretty busy when the weather is nice which can be a slight issue in terms of being able to get a sunbed with any shade as there are only two shaded sections.

Loved having a pool, especially in the heatwave. The location was great - not in the busy centre but an easy walk with great places to eat nearby. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly and helpful.
