We were original were put in an older room that shared a balcony with the room next door. We asked to move and the hotel was able to move us after the first night. The new room with private balcony was much better. The shuttle into Sorrento is very useful but only runs hourly, ideally this would be a little more frequent as its a long walk and taxi's are expensive

Very nice stay at Hotel Cristina. The staff are all fantastic. Pool area is nice and the renovated rooms are done to a nice standard. Views from the room or the pool/restaurant are amazing. Sorrento itself is a lovely town to stay in/near.

Great location just outside Sorrento town on hillside giving beautiful view of the bay. Hotel shuttle bus to Sorrento train station. Louisa at reception booked us our tours of Amalfi coast and Pompei & Vesuvius, and taxi to Naples Airport. Rooms were cleaned every morning. We had several evening meals which were all delicious. Staff were very attentive. Pool had various depths which was great for a non-swimmer, and had plenty of loungers.

This place is awesome! The staff literally cannot do enough for you, the breakfast was so good and the building itself was quaint, with lots of character. The absolute clincher was the free shuttle bus into the centre of Sorrento. It runs everyday regularly, and whilst it is walkable (around a mile), it's quite a hill up to the hotel itself, so this is a really nice touch that we didn't expect, but certainly used... a lot! When we return to Sorrento, Hotel Cristina is the only place we will stay. 10/10!

The room was very small for family of 4, but this wasn’t a big issue. We were worried the first night as our room was on the top courtyard were everyone was having drinks, but staff were so lovely to try and rectify this and they asked people to move to other side of balcony bar after 11 if they were still drinking.

Beautiful location with magnificent views. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The pool was lovely. We loved the size of the hotel, real family feel and other friendly families too. The shuttle bus was so useful! Thank you so much to all staff at hotel Cristina

Hotel Cristina is a nice hotel on the cliffs in Sorrento.It has a shuttle bus who takes you to the city centre and a 10min walk to some of its beaches.Very clean nice restaurant and nice rooms with brilliant views.

Each morning we were woken before 8am by the cleaners chatting outside of our room. We aren’t people to lie in but as the pool didn’t open until 9am we weren’t in a hurry to get up. We were on the 5th floor and not sure if this was their only storage area but it did drive us crazy. I love to sit and read by a pool earlier on before it gets too hot but the pool didn’t open until 9am and sometimes they were late too. We were lucky as it was only the last day that the schools had broken up in the UK so it got busier. As there aren’t lots of sun beds they need to stop people putting towels down and heading off for trips for the morning. As for the sun beds, please change them! For example one morning we tried 10 before finding just 1 that would recline the whole way.

We stayed here for a week as a family of 4. Our rooms had fantastic views of Sorrento and the sea. Initially my husband and I thought our view wasn’t the best as our balcony looked out onto a large shared terrace. However hardly anyone was on it so it was like we had it to ourselves. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and informative. The shuttle was superb!!! It went every hour to the train station which is a 2min walk from the shops etc. We could book over WhatsApp through which we always got a swift response. The rooftops pool had stunning views again along with the restaurant.

Lovely staff at reception. Cara was the girls name I think. Very friendly and helped us with booking a day trip. Staff at the breakfast area were lovely and friendly each morning. Nice choice of fresh foods. View from hotel is fantastic. The shuttle bus from and to the hotel was a great service. Five minutes to city Centre. Antonio the driver was very friendly also. The cleaning staff were also great each day looking after our room.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Cristina. Rooms were recently refurbished, spacious, comfortable and kept very clean. Stunning views from our balcony. Breakfast was very nice. We also ate either lunch or dinner at the hotel a few days. Staff were very friendly and food was nice. Special shout out to the reception staff. The WhatsApp service was one of my favourite features to use. We would also like to thank our shuttle bus drivers, we made use of this everyday and were so grateful we didn’t have to walk up the hill every night! 😂 The complimentary shuttle drops you off and collects you right at the Sorrento train station which is a few minutes walk from lots of restaurants and shops and very handy if booking your own excursions.

Our room was a garden room but being on the end in the cliff, it was cold and the air conditioning was too complicated for us to get working se we were quite cold. There was no real view out of the room but the door to the wonderful terrace made up for this.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Clean and bright rooms with great access to a terrace with lovely views over the Bay of Naples. Regular and easy to book shuttle bus to Sorrento. Wonderful dinner on the terrace watching the sun set.

The style of the rooms is dated with antique pine wardrobes but having said that, the room was still very comfortable & spacious. The pool was full of very young children whilst we were there so didn’t make for a relaxing stay. We opted to head to an out of town beach club 15 mins away instead ( highly recommend maya beach club - it was superb and well worth the money)

Fabulous hotel on the edge of Sorrento town! Fairly small but spotlessly clean and with the most incredible views. The staff couldn’t be more helpful - they really made our stay. Excellent cocktails on the roof terrace bar and a decent continental breakfast with an incredible balcony to sit on to eat it with a panoramic view of the bay. The free shuttle bus to & from the town was particularly useful as it’s a steep walk back. Perfect base to explore from as away from the noisy centre but only a 5 mins drive back to town
