I am trying very hard to find something but cannot. Everything was just BRILLIANT.

The place is beautiful, in a historical building like an Italian palace. High ceilings and extraordinary furniture. Nikos is an excellent host, The checkin felt like you are sitting with an old friend and chatting. Everyday Nikos made sure we were comfortable and went out of his way to make our stay in Lecce special. The breakfast is so generous. Words could not describe how special this place is. The location could not be better as it is in the heart of the centre. Truly a gem. Thankyou Nikos!!!!!!!

I loved everything about the stay . It was absolutely amazing. Nikos could not do enough for us. Even parking and re- parking our car each day. He gave us so much local information and places where we should visit both restaurants, towns , beaches and everything. The place was stunning and would definitely recommend it to anyone. It was on another level.

Had an amazing stay here and would highly recommend! The location was great and it was very easy to walk around the city and see all the sights! The suite was clean and tidy and we were provided a very nice breakfast each morning. Niko was a very welcoming and amazing host. I would highly recommend staying here!

We spent five wonderful nights at the Historical Suites in Lecce and were completely blown away. The room and facilities were nothing short of amazing – full of history, charm, and character. The large, spacious suite featured original furniture, stunning high decorative ceilings, and a truly elegant ambiance that made us feel like we were living in a piece of Lecce’s rich past.

The breakfast was excellent and the suite we stayed in was excellent also. Nikos was a fantastic host who was very knowledgeable about the city and pointed out all the places to visit. He also recommended restaurants and they were fantastic. You could not get a better host and the suite was very historic with fantastic furniture and original features.

What didn't we like? The fact that we had to leave.

What did we like? We loved everything. Without a doubt this was the coolest, neatest, most amazing place we stayed in our five-city trip to Puglia. Our suite was enormous. Its period furnishings were thoughtful and comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous with a nice assortment of meats, cheeses and other breakfast items. It's a fabulous location. We just loved the owner, Nikos, who is just in a class by himself. He's interesting to talk to, took time to show us around, and even drove us to the train station. A truly memorable experience.

Nothing to dislike

Nikos (our host) was amazing! Extremely helpful with suggestions for dining out, sightseeing, buying tickets etc etc. The accommodation was a real treat with enormous rooms and some amazing furniture steeped in his families history. It is easy walking distance to all of the old towns places of interest. He even helped us with parking our car. (Which has to be booked in advance). Thankyou for everything Nikos 😀

A beautiful historic BnB in a great central location, rooms very spacious and very clean. Our host Nikos was fantastic, very friendly and helpful advising us where to go and what to see In Lecce. A good breakfast is served in the formal library. Lecce is a beautiful old town and definitely worth visiting.

Nothing! If you didn't love Historical Suites, you wouldn't love wonderful Baroque Lecce either! We loved both!

Our Suite in the Palazzo Miglietta, a gorgeous early-nineteenth-century palace, was in fact absolutely palatial--with windows and balconies overlooking Lecce's main walking streets, and with both a sitting room and enormous bedroom--all decorated with antiques and beautiful paintings. We were in the lap of luxury--whether in our huge and comfy brass bed, in our beautifully-appointed sitting room (offering tea and coffee), or in our roomy and convenient MODERN bathroom--in the very heart of one of the most gorgeous cities in Italy. We were able to walk everywhere in a matter of minutes. Nicos, our host, could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. His restaurant suggestions led us both to traditional osterias (where most of the other diners were locals) and to elegant ristorantes. And every morning he served us a wonderful breakfast featuring delicious local pastries, warm from the local bakery. We felt entirely at home in this drop-dead gorgeous place, which you enter through a tiny door within an enormous outer door made for horses and carriages. Every time we went out or came in, we felt like members of the nobility. It was hard to leave. Highly recommended. A fantastic place and a great value.

Beautiful historical room in a nobleman’s house right next to the Duomo. The location could not be better. Nikos the host was super helpful and very knowledgeable about the city and gave good tips about restaurants (try Volo). Breakfast was good and served in a Library. Bed was comfortable and bathroom very modern.

Nothing everything was great

Everything about our stay was perfect. Nikos is the perfect host and did everything he could to make our five night stay the best. The building and furnishings are just fabulous. Nikos enthuses so much pride in the place and gave us some great tips for restaurants and sights. We were lucky to be able to use the parking space and after the first tricky attempt we got the hang of it. I am sure we will be back to Lecce as we lived our stay and if we do we will no doubt stay here again.

No 'keybox on the wall' entrance here. The host welcomed us in person. Nikos is a warm and friendly person. He gave us good advice on visiting the town and restaurants. The spacious room was superb ! It felt like staying in a castle room because of the furniture and the decoration. The bathroom was clean and functional. The wifi was flawless. Breakfast was excellent, and we got to know people from around the world at the table. The B&B is very well located: within walking distance of anything in the town, and less than 15min walk from the station.

Extraordinary accommodation in the heart of Lecce

Historical suits are located in the 18th century palace and has been decorated with wonderful antiques. We felt very special while staying there. Nikos, the host, welcomed us with kindness and warmth. He equipped us with a detailed itinerary for our two-day stay that we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved having breakfast in a library lounge listening to the bell music from the nearby Duomo piazza. The suites are easily reached by foot from the train station and close to all major attractions in Lecce Definitely recommended
