How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast experience can be slightly improved - also the food selection was a bit underwhelming.
Hotel Grüner Baum is a lovely hotel, very much representing what Brixen is all about, which is luxury in style and a comfortable feeling overall. It's perfectly located, the rooms are spacious and clean and in all honestly there was nothing missing from this place. A very well organised structure, working as it should. I would recommend it to anybody visiting the lovely city of Brixen.

The single room bed was really a single bed. Narrow but ok. The room, bathroom, and some public areas need renovation.
Breakfast, indoor and outdoor pools, air conditioning, friendly receptionists, excellent service, immediate access to the old town.

The bathroom could be better, the tiles around the toilet were a bit broken and the bathtub was old. Generally the price was relatively high considering the room state.
The stay was very nice, the single room was very clean and comfortable and I had access to all facilities and pool. Breakfast was great and all staff very friendly and accommodating. Moreover the BrixenCard that was included was the price was great, especially if you want to visit mountain Plose.

The sauna was only opened between 15.00-19.00, it would be nice if it could open a bit longer in the evening.
The breakfast variety was extensive, and the room was perfect for a solo traveler for a night stay!

Staff at the reception desk were efficient but could be friendlier. Breakfast was OK but could start earlier and there could be at least one more coffee machine for the large number of guests. Bedroom could have had a kettle or coffee machine. Hotel interior OK but will need upgrading or modernising soon. Price on the high side.

During my stay the hotel was rather crowded and not all the guests followed the rules of the house and produced quite a lot of noise.
Very nice location, a lot of facilities (swimming pools, spa, fitness), rich breakfast, friendly staff.

Unfortunately the bed was not comfortable, and really needs two pillows each. We had hoped to sneak a bit of breakfast a little early as we had been told we could, but could only get breakfast from 7, delaying our departure.
The hotel is in the perfect location for walking distance into the town, with great health facilities and parking and check-in were a breeze. The breakfast selection was amazing.

We came back from dinner expecting to have a nightcap at the bar. The door was closed and the bar man said we could sit outside the bar in a lobby type are and he could bring us something to drink…no vibe at all would have been better off to stay in Town. We did not use the pool because there was no pool bar service.
Checkin in was pleasant, room was clean and quiet . This hotel is in an absolutely amazing location! The breakfast itself and service at breakfast were excellent . We did not use the pool etc but it looked lovely

The room was very hot, the air con didn't seem to be working properly. It appeared that some pools were only for people with wellness cards, not normal guests. Although I didn't ask any further as I was leaving that morning.
Clean room, really good breakfast and Brixen card for free cable car and bus rides.

Room with poor view and old furniture.
Staff very kind, breakfast, delicious ricotta. Beautiful spa, garden very clean and relaxing. Few steps from town centre: just a bridge and you are in the heart of Bressanone!

It was a bit complicated to navigate the wellness area.
The location, right in the city center, the cleaness of the room, the lovely new wellness center and the amazing breakfast. Also the free parking at the facility included.
