It was a perfect getaway.. able to swim as we were sea front.. restaurant was amazing.. as was the breakfast buffet. The staff at front desk.. Maria was very helpful - she booked both of our tours..they had staff to drive you within a few miles of hotel.. very convenient- the staff by beach was fabulous as well.

Nothing about the property at all. The only complaint I had was with the cruise along the Almalfi coast .We booked that through the hotel ( but I must stress that do not run it and are not responsible for how it is run ) We envisioned a leisurely cruise along the coast but this particular day it was raining and they sold way too many tickets .We were all crammed onto a rickety boat where there were not enough seats and a lot of people had to stand in very rough seas for the 2 hour trip .We couldn’t see out of the windows as they fogged up with that many people on board .Many were seasick as well .I know they can’t help the weather but I think you should expect a seat for that amount you pay .

Quiet location right on the water so there was a bit of a cool ocean breeze .Rooms were very comfortable and clean .Breakfast was excellent and had omelettes and bacon and eggs cooked fresh to order .But the standout feature of the hotel and the reason I gave it a 10 rating was the staff .They went out of their way to assist at all times .Not only did they pick us up from the station but the shuttle actually took me to the pharmacy when I was sick one day .In fact every time we wanted to do to the station the dropped us off and picked us up which saved us a lot of money

This hotel truly exceeded our expectations. Located in a peaceful corner of Sorrento, it offers breathtaking views across the bay and the rare luxury of a private beach which was immaculately maintained with comfortable sun loungers and crystal-clear, shallow water that's perfect for swimming. Our room had a spacious balcony overlooking the sea, and we spent every moment we could out there, soaking in the stunning views. The room itself was beautifully decorated, very spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and relaxed. The restaurant was another highlight, every meal was cooked to perfection, with the breakfast omelettes being some of the best we've ever had. Secure parking was a huge plus, especially with a rental car during the busy season in Sorrento. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay and will absolutely be returning. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Amalfi Coast.

This place is absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed our stay immensely. It’s very easy to reach, especially with the hotel offering complimentary transport from the train station, as well as a free shuttle service to Sorrento — something we didn’t expect and truly appreciated. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and professional — we are very grateful to them! Our room was simply spectacular: spotless clean with a magnificent view. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, offering a great start to each day. The bar staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. Honestly, there’s nothing negative to say about this accommodation. It’s by far one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at so far — truly a wonderful surprise! We highly recommend it with complete confidence!

The shower is really small. And the water gets out on the bathroom floor really easily. This would not encourage us though to choose another hotel in this area - Hotel Giosue a mare is a great choice.

The hotel is located in a calm part of Meta-Sorrento, down near the sea, which we really appreciated. Especially in contrast to the busy Sorrento city centre. The location is a dream and the sunsets are truly stunning. At the same time it is easy to reach Meta train station (in 10min by free and convenient hotel shuttle always available, or in ca. 20-30min by feet). Just three stops with the cheap train (8min) and you are in Sorrento. The rooms and the hotel itself are very clean. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful! They all speak english. I appreciated their initiative and approach when they offered to pick us up with the shuttle from the train station at night of our arrival. They helped us to plan and organize trips during our stay and they turned out to be great recommendations. The breakfast is great! You can order eggs prepared the way you like them, there is fresh fruit, salty stuff, great coffee even though it is from automatic coffee machine and a lot of great italian sweet pastry.

Everything ! It is close to Positano and Amalfi for a day trip but nice and quiet for evenings out of the busy areas. Breakfast and staff were amazing! My husband was sick during our time and they assisted greatly! Also the shuttle is so easy to order and arrange that also helped us get to and from the train station. Nice restaurants walking distance!

We did experience some minor flooding from the shower after use, as water seeped into the bedroom through small gaps in the walls. However, it was manageable and didn’t cause much of an issue.

We had a lovely stay here back in March 2025! Everything from the attentive service to the amenities exceeded our expectations. Our room was spotless upon arrival, with a stunning view of the beach and a spacious balcony-it was a perfect spot to relax. Anytime we needed assistance, the staff responded promptly and courteously. From beginning to end, the service was exceptional as the staff were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We also enjoyed a few visits to the hotel's terrace bar for drinks and light bites, which were so delicious we found ourselves returning more than once. The service there was excellent. The breakfast buffet in the main restaurant downstairs was another highlight, offering a nice variety to start the day. While the location felt a bit tucked away, the hotel offered a complimentary shuttle to and from the Meta train station which made getting around very smooth. The hotel is situated in a peaceful & serene location if you're looking to get away from the crowds/unwind, but it still isn't very far from the main city of Sorrento. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and will be back!

In general, our stay was a great experience. If I had to mention one thing that could be improved, it would be the breakfast schedule. It ends at 10 AM, and it would be nice if it was extended a bit longer, maybe until 11 AM, to allow for a more relaxed morning.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The location is perfect, with awesome views, especially from our room, where we could watch the sea, the cliffs and the sunset over the beach. It was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant was excellent and all the services provided by the hotel were easily accessible and of high quality. Highly recommended!

The only bad thing I could possibly say is that the shower is super small. I am also basing this off of my bf (6'7") who had a hard time getting into it. It was a tight fit for me as well but and I'm 5'4". This did not take away from our excellent experience.

Stunning views, the staff was amazing, they are very good with keeping their beach clean, this was by far one of the best hotels we stayed at in Italy.
