Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandThe apartment was very clean and extremely comfortable. The room was cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. The breakfast option included in the price was a great bonus – croissant with coffee, juice, or tea. The owner was very helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Angela !

BelgiumIt was hard for us to find accommodation on the Amalfi Coast, because we wanted to rely on public transport and boats only (no car), but still explore the area properly. Dint’a Torre B&B was a fantastic choice. You can get there by local bus from Amalfi (in the direction of Pontone). From the B&B village which is up in the mountains, we walked up to Ravello for dinner and drinks, and on a different day down and back up again to Amalfi for a day trip. It’s definitely a bit of a workout (about 30 minutes each way), but totally doable and honestly quite welcome after all the delicious local food. And there were more paths to take from there by foot for which we did not have time for. If you don’t feel like moving around much, the B&B is in a peaceful little village with its own charm, including a breakfast place and a great dinner spot, which we loved (Antico Borgo). The room itself was comfortable and lovely, and importantly, it’s fully private—with its own entrance, private bathroom (with shower and toilet), and a comfortable bed. Angela was the sweetest host. We’d really recommend this place!

RomaniaEverything was perfect!
Very nice B&B, we had a room with an amazing view. Room was very clean (daily cleaning). Very comfortable bed. Ms Angela was the best host, she was very welcoming and helpful with all our requests. Pontone is a small town, which is very beautiful and peaceful (unlike Amalfi which is very crowded). Walking distance (30 min or so) to Ravello and Amalfi (up to Ravello, down to Amalfi) but there are stairs. There is a bus station close to the accommodation, it has a schedule but there may be delays in full season. There is a very beatiful hike which you can start from Pontone, called Valle delle Ferriere, which brings you to Amalfi town, in the end. Breakfast is served at a bar which is very close (Blu bar) and you can choose sweet / salty variants. We ate at San Giovanni restaurant which makes delicious pizza. A wonderful experience!

United KingdomThe only negative fact was that the bus stopped working at 6pm on Sunday. So either you do a steep walk up the hill around 45 minutes from Amalfi or pay €70 for a cab.
Lovely, quiet place to stay. The beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom were a good size and clean. I loved the fact there was a balcony. I was pleased that we were staying up at Scala rather than with the masses of tourists at Amalfi.

United StatesAmazing place. Perfect location situated in the adorable and quiet community of Pontone which is right above Amalfi and Atrani and on the next hill across from Ravello. There is a bus directly from Amalfi to Pontone and then it is steps to the hotel. You can walk down the stairs to Amalfi in around 20 minutes. From Amalfi, you can catch busses or ferries all across the coast and we were able to explore with no car. Hosts were incredibly nice, helped us find the bus route, checked us in, and brought us fresh lemonade and snacks. Every morning, they serve you breakfast on their patio looking over the valley down to Amalfi and the water. They serve coffee drinks, pastries, and homemade jam. Absolutely wonderful! The room itself was perfect, AC, an incredible balcony with a view, comfy bed. Could not ask for anything better. Easily one of the best values on the Amalfi coast, stay here and explore!

AzerbaijanThe main issue was the location: while the listing suggested a 10–15 minute easy walk to Amalfi, the reality is very different. The path is extremely steep with many stairs, and it took us about 30 minutes just to walk downhill — and much longer uphill. For anyone with luggage or mobility concerns, this route can be extremely challenging, even for someone athletic. Public transportation was also a problem. Buses from Pontone to Amalfi run only every 2 hours, and after 8 PM there are no buses at all — leaving us with no option but to make the long, steep walk down. We were also disappointed by some of the service aspects. When we asked for an iron to press our clothes, we were told it wasn’t available, but we could pay extra to have the clothes ironed for us. Similarly, we were kindly offered beach towels — which we appreciated — but were then unexpectedly charged €8 for them. These small fees added up and gave us the impression that guests are being charged for things that are normally complimentary elsewhere. On the positive side, the room was clean and the setting peaceful. But overall, we feel this B&B may not be the best fit for travelers looking for easy access to town or more inclusive hospitality.
Our stay at Dint’a B&B had some pleasant moments, but overall, it didn’t fully meet our expectations.

GreeceAfter booking the room, we were then informed that there was an extra fee of 20 € (10% of the reservation), for late arrival. The owner never replied despite the fact we complained on that. Regarding this situation the mother of the person was waiting for us and the parking which was charged an extra 20€ was on the ground floor of the house- hostel. They forced us to pay the extra money for the parking and the late arrival in cash. Additionally when we arrived they told us that the breakfast 8-10 the breakfast and at 10.00 was the check out. While the breakfast was outside of the house at the cafe in the piazza- square near the house. Breakfast included one coffee or juice and a croissant - marmalade and fried bread. It is not recommend this hotel-house since at these price level there are better options.
It was clean, had a nice view from the balcony and quiet.

CanadaWe booked this place for 3 nights through booking.com, initially we informed the host we would arrive between 4-5pm however due to several transportation delays which were out of our control and no wifi or phone connection we were unable to contact the host until 5:30pm. Maria was upset and told us we were disrespectful and irresponsible. We agreed she would leave the key with her mother as she had an appointment. Finally at 8:30 we arrived at Amalfi, we called the host again at this time she was very angry. We took a taxi to Scala, 60 euros later is when we met belligerent, hostile, aggressive and threatening behavior by Maria. After this confrontation we left the establishment with no place to go. In my 30 years of travels I have never experienced anything like this. This woman has no compassion or understanding her behavior was barbaric and unacceptable!
