Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

Nothing, everything was perfect!
This is a wonderful place to stay in Bari. Clean, comfortable, and cozy. The host was extremely responsive and helped us a lot. I highly recommend it!

Comfortable stay. All details for lockbox arranged in advance with Fabio made for an easy check in. Room is clean and centrally located in the historic area of Bari.

We don't have any complains. It exceeded our expectations.
Very nice, spacious room and incredibly clean. The bathroom was really cute as well. We had a lot of towels, blankets and everything we needed. Also, for colder seasons it's perfect because the heat in the room works perfectly and can be adjusted as needed. The communication with the host was super great, he made sure we had all the details in advance via texting, everything was clear and check in amazing. Very kind host and beautiful room! Would definitely go there again because we know everything was in perfect shape. We loved it and the location was right in the old town, close to everything.

A bit difficult to access the room via stairs if you have mobility problems.
Very comfortable accomodation. Excellent location. Close to all historic sites, restaurants and bars. Will definitely reccomend to others. Excellent communication from Fabio prior to and during the holiday. He provided perfect restaurant recommendations to suit our other family members who were also on holiday at accomodation elsewhere in the city.

Breakfast was provided by voucher at a nearby café. However, if one had a late breakfast then the chance of being provided with a croissant was slight.
Host was exceptionally pleasant and helpful at all times during our stay. Could not find fault with the room or facilities provided.

The property was conveniently located. You had easy access to two excellent neighborhoods. (Murat and Old Bari) Fabio gave us great instructions along with excellent recommendations. I would highly recommend Dadu 14.

There was nothing to complain in the apartment, but some service persons in restaurants nearby would need a basic course in serving customers. Luckily most of the people were really kind and helpful.
Recently renovated room in an excellent condition. Perfect location in the border of the old and new part of Bari. Host provided excellent travel tips in the neighborhood. The upper room had a nice roof terrace.

Everything about this place is perfect!
The room was very clean and the location is perfect. It’s in a cosy little street and the rooftop terrace with shower is a perfect place to relax in the evening. Fabio is an amazing host. He responds very fast, is very friendly, helped us find the best spots and restaurants in Bari and left us some tasty little treats and a couple of beers to enjoy on the terrace.

The location of this place is extraordinary, the heart of the old town, beautiful streets everywhere, the building is renovated, very comfortable, the service and the conditions provided are really great.

Everything was perfect, especially location. It is in the old part of the city, everything you need to see is in walking distance. situated on a quiet pat of the street. Great bed, bathroom, balcony, for breakfast you get coffe + croissant in nearby cafe.

The location is in a beautiful Bari old town street and you could get anywhere in no time. The host was very very welcoming and helpful. I can only recommend Dadu 14!
