How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Chiara was very helpful and made us feel at home. The apartment had everything and was well stocked every day with food and drink. The cleaner was lovely too and came every day.

It was so beautiful and spacious. Modern but still fitted the historic setting. Our hosts were exceptional they went above and beyond. We arrive late due to a late flight but they could not have made us feel more welcome and made it easy for us to check in and get settled. This is an exceptional place and I cannot recommend it highly enough hopefully we will be back.

The 3rd bed was a sofa “bed” and small. Ok for younger kid but not ideal for older teen. This could be more clearly shared so people can know what to expect.

We love everything. We will be back
We like everything, starting with the staff, very friendly and knowledgeable, Eduardo and Chiara were great and went beyond giving us advice regarding the attractions to visit and the best restaurants to go !!! Even the housekeeper was really friendly and nice. The location was great!! We highly recommend Cuore di Sorrento to everyone!!! 100 out of 10 !!!

The space was amazing! Extremely spacious, modern, impeccably clean, perfectly located in the heart of Sorento. An extremely responsive host who greeted us upon arriving, showed us all the features of the apartment, and provided us with enough fresh fruit, yogurt, cold beverages and snacks for our entire visit. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sorrento!

Our hosts Chiara and Eduardo were exceptional. They greeted us so warmly with limincello and prosecco and went through the features of the room and activities to do in Sorrento. The room was so well appointed, particularly the breakfast. The location was superb. I would definitely return to this amazing accommodation.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sorrento Suites! The space was so nice with plenty of room to relax. They stocked the place with snacks, including a split of Prosecco and Limoncello welcome shots 😄

The bedding/sheets need to be updated. Did not stay on the mattress and were not soft.

Nothing, we loved everything!
Our stay at Cuore di Sorrento was exceptional and we cannot fault it. We had a lovely warm welcome from our host, she really took her time to show us around and even gave recommendations on where to go out for food and drinks. During our stay, we had snacks such as fresh ham, cheeses, breads, cereals, milk, fresh juices, and even more. These were even replenished every day. The cleaning service was also 10/10. We had bumped into the cleaning lady and she was so polite and friendly. The location was in the heart of sorrento, everything you could possibly need was on your door step. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for such a lovely experience!

Didn't know where to go when we arrived to check in. Breakfast was included but you had to prepare it yourself with the items provided.
Chiara was extremely helpful in providing information how to get from Naples train station to Sorrento. Quiet location, welcome bottle of limoncello and persecco and AC worked great.

I have nothing bad to say, it was a beautiful room. Just beware that “breakfast included” means that there are groceries in the fridge for you to prepare your own breakfast. We actually enjoyed it, but wasn’t what we expected.
