Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SlovakiaHotel was clean and good equipped. Restaurant located there for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was basic but good. Staff was very friendly and ready to help with everything. Bar located at the lobby opened almost always for quick drinks. Parking comfortable in hotels parking garage monitored with CCTV so you do not need to worry about the car. Hotel is well located next to the train station to take train right to Neapol. We had a pleasant 2 days stay on a routetrip through Italy.

FinlandThe breakfast is very poor for a 4* hotel. The hotel has a lot of space, but it is mostly empty - one restaurant and a small bar - but maybe it is because they are doing renovation right now. Nothing to do outside, because the town is very small and it is not a tourist place at all, but this is not related to the hotel, but the surrounding area. The hotel is close to the railway station - it is a plus and a minus, because sometimes you can hear the trains. The furniture in the room is quite simple and cheap. Some sensor buttons in the elevators are not working - you need to touch them multiple times before they will work. So, for me it is a 3* hotel, but not 4*.
The family room is very big - it is 2 separate bedrooms + a living room. The air conditioning works fine, but it is limited to 24 degrees and a bit "dusty" (there was a feeling that the AC had been turned off for a long-long time). The hotel personnel are very friendly and polite. The price for a 4* hotel for a big room is not expensive (but I realized why it is so - see the minuses of the hotel below). The railway station is near the hotel, so if you plan to use a train to travel around Naples and use the hotel just for sleeping, then maybe it is a suitable place.

United Arab EmiratesI can't say I didn't like something, all in all hotel was clean (floors, bathroom), the only thing was some hair on the bedroom sheets. This can happen, nothing I would complain about. The sheets were spotless clean.
If you book a room with breakfast included, please make sure that you don't order sunny side up eggs, as you'll pay additional 8 Euro. The rate "breakfast included" includes only scrambled eggs.

ItalyA quite bizarre downside of our stay in a superior double room was that the poor design of the sizeable bathroom. One had to climb stairs into a shower set above the bath. Standing in a bath for a shower feels somewhat perilous. The toilet and bidet were squeezed into a space that was so small that the toilet was only just about useable for a normal sized man and the bidet unusable by anyone.
The location is a 5 minute walk from the TrenItalia station and a 15 minute walk to the Circumvesuviana train service. We were en vacation to see as many archaeological sites as possible and these transport services made that so easy for us to do. The hotel restaurant has a lovely views over the bay that made for an uplifting breakfast each morning. The breakfast itself was a buffet rich in choices. Unlike most Italian hotels that we have stayed in, the breakfast service lacked a barista to make excellent coffe. Instead they have the most extraordinary coffee machines I have ever encountered that make delicious coffee of your choice at the push of a button. Despite the fact that the hotel is mainly orientated toward corporate and group stays, they have managed to create a seemingly seamless environment to serve the individual traveller also and one of the highlights of the stay was simply the quality of the friendly and helpful staff.

United StatesThe town itself was a little old and run down. Hotel is right next to railroad tracks and some decrepit buildings, but very close to the port. Would have been nice to have a clothes rack in the room and laundry faculties in the hotel.
The size of the room was great, basically a 2 brdm apartment but no kitchen. It was central to where we were visiting, so that helped. The hotel itself was funky decor- wise. The breakfast was good.

The included breakfast was superb, not far from central Naples on the metro! The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the local station. Quiet little town but very easy access to Naples, Pompei and Serranto. Very friendly staff and excellent facilities. Air con!!! I had to get to the airport the next day and it was a simple metro ride and then the airport bus.

United StatesOne thing that might be nice, as travelers are often in need of a bite to eat mid-day, would be to offer a light lunch menu during the off hours between breakfast and dinner.
I booked this hotel for a brief stop over near Naples that was close to the airport but offered a safe place to stay and park after a drive from Puglia. I was traveling with my sister and two teens so it was important for me to have a place I could park our rental car over night. A lovely breakfast was included in a panoramic restaurant that overlooks Sorrento and Capri. I chose this hotel also because I needed three separate sleeping areas for us to each be able to sleep before the journey home. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel is a few minutes walk to a port and steps from gelateria - yet if you simply wanted to stay in the hotel you can also have dinner onsite. Even in advance of my stay, the staff was warm and helpful. Every need we had for extra pillows and blankets was swiftly responded to. They also helped us to connect with a taxi driver to bring us back and forth to the airport.

United KingdomNo kettle or boiling water available in the room. Bedside tables need to have a drawer really, had to keep stuff on table at bottom of bed. Sofa was very very hard in the room Iron was supplied from reception but nothing to iron clothes on, so had to use small table with a towel over the top. Ironing boards and irons should be supplied as standard in a 4 star hotel and I rarely find a hotel room without. Clothes get badly creased when travelling for everyone. The lady who worked at the bar opposite reception didn't speak any English and seemed to try and pretend she didn't hear or see us when we approached the area at times.. We tried to ask for her attention but she seemed more interested in cleaning the coffee machine. No smile, unprofessional and seemed to have a poor attitude, not the right person for this kind of job. The lady from reception came over as she probably saw what was happening, she was very lovely and helpful with us. Sadly the lady who was working at the bar was in the wrong job for sure. Nothing wrong with not understanding eachothers language, just her attitude was felt. We were very nice and friendly with her and she seemed not so. Breakfast was poor considering it was a 4 star hotel. No fresh fruit juices, a machine of cordial versions. Meats left to go room temperature which made me a little concerned and only 2 hot food options ( mini frankfurter sausages and scrambled egg) breakfast was dissapointing considering the price of the hotel and I have had far better at cheaper hotels in Europe. Croissants are cheap cake versions but we did enjoy breakfast, just not a lot. We had an incident on the last night in which we needed to sleep as we had an early taxi to the airport. Our power was cut due to an electrical fault with the bathroom hairdryer. We had to wait for the problem to be fixed and it would have been nice if we were offered another room as we were sat in the dark waiting to sleep until the problem was fixed.
Some of the staff were amazing and helpful, the bed was comfortable and the room was very big and roomy. Shower was nice and we had 2, 1 over the bath and 1 in its own shower unit. Very spacious room and very close to torre del greco Station.
