Have to check in online to receive check in instructions. Software wouldn’t allow me to update number of guests from 2 to 1, so I couldn’t check in at first. Had to contact the property. Still charged city tax for 2 people. Also, difficult to upload passport photos. Bottomline, check-in process needs improvement. Toilet seat definitely needs to be replaced immediately. Large chips on it. Would have been nice to have a map of the downtown. Was told to find parking on street or “nearby garages.” Would have been better if told of a specific garage to go to, so we could put it in gps, rather than guessing which one is closer from maps.

Excellent location right in the middle of old town. It is a very small room, but the price is very good. Was clean.

Room was a bit more basic than the pictures made it seem, and there were small signs of wear. We thought there was a small fridge in the room, but it turned out to be a freezer! This ruined the food we put in and made a bit of a mess.

Good location close to shops and cafes/restaurants. Only 10 minutes walk to lake, ferry terminal, bus station, and Como lago train station. 20 mins to Como San Giovani station, or 15 by bus. Was very quiet within apartment block. Good air conditioning, comfortable bed. Clothes rail and hangers really helpful. Staff very friendly and helpful. We used the luggage drop the day we checked out, which was an excellent service.

Air conditioning did not seem to be working. Room looks bigger in the picture than it actually is and does not have much storage for two guests, if traveling for a long period.

The fridge actually is freezer. It was a surprise. The room is smaller than it seems from photos. The bed is wobbly. The main issue was that in the room was a sewer smell even with the window in the toilet opened.

Great location. The neighbours were silent. Tasty coffee from nespresso machine and tea, easy check in and check out procedures. The bed was comfortable in general.

Was quite small but perfect for what we needed it for. Lots of steps to the apartment which for us wasn’t an issue for us but would be difficult for someone who is less able to walk up lots of steps with luggage.

Great location and really comfy bed. The staff were really accommodating when we needed to leave bags, which I didn’t know we could do, so it’s worth noting this if you book. The office where you can drop your bags is super close to the apartment

The bed was really uncomfortable with a big dip in the middle. It is also very noisy so it wakes the other person up when you turn over.

Upon arrival the bed collapsed from my fiancé sitting on the bed. We also had a real issue with the air con the first night and the room averaged 27 degrees Celsius. They fixed these issues the next day but we spent the first night on a mattress on the floor. The fridge in the room is a freezer and everything we put in there froze overnight.

Staff were really friendly and helpful as we arrived very late in the evening and they gave us all the check in information to get into the property without needing to speak to anyone directly. The shower was really good and easy to use and the mattress was comfortable. It’s very well located about five to ten minutes from the lake.

The room is on the third floor without elevator and I had to carry my bag upstairs . Was a pain.There were some bugs near coffee table and bed was broken which although they fixed later, I find unfair for a one night stay. Check in is very late at 3 pm and checkout is before 10 am . Light in the room was bizarre and self switched off like hallway lights! The luggage storage is a 6-7 minute walk away so not directly at the property. This property is not value for money.

The best part of this accommodation is its location and proximity to all major attractions. I was there for the weekend only so it was ideal staying in this area.

The broken bed which we raised and they didn’t offer a solution. Room was tiny. We feel the place was massively overpriced for what you get and the service. Earliest checkout on our trip. Also the only place that wanted to charge us to leave our bags in storage for an hour after we checked out. Just all round disappointing. Better off staying in a hotel where they put effort into service.

We want to point out that this is not a hotel, it’s an Airbnb in a private property and should only be on Airbnb site. Pictures don’t match reality, space is pretty small. No housekeeping and only a few amenities are in place at check-in. We got two toilets rolls for three nights. There are empty coffee maker and tea boiler, but no capsules or tea bags. So make sure to go to Carefour. - Bed is U-shaped and totally worn out, we fell into each other and got woken up various times. Neck-/back ache guaranteed. Owner is aware of this issue by various reviews but has still not upgraded the mattress and when we complained to him on WhatsApp not really any answer, just that we should complain to Booking.com - so we did file a complaint about this property and warn all of you here. - AC & WiFi did not work the first night. Someone arrived the day after and fixed. However, the AC is of poor performance and doesn’t cool down the room. Averaging 25-26 degrees and then we had kept it on for the whole day (yes, we kept it on when we were out to avoid coming home to a sauna). Something else hosts should fix. - Hosts attitude are not very nice. When we pointed out AC & WiFi was out of order we got no sorry, but someone came came and fixed morning after though, but no sorry from him either. We also told them that we’d like to seek compensation, but nothing there. If we got something of satisfaction this review could have been avoided. Remember, compensation doesn’t always need to be monetary, it can be very late check-out or free luggage storage. Yes, it costs to store your luggage and you need to go to another location.

AC was not good. The bathtub drainge is clogged. The bed mattress is totally uncomfortable. There is supposed to be a refrigerator. Unfortunately, it was a freezer, and our food was frozen, and we had to throw it.
