Paola is an incredible host. She makes the place feel like a second home and is so attentive. Everything we did was based on her recommendations and we’re so glad we followed them. Our apartment was faultless and the pool area was wonderfully quiet-perfect after exploring the island. I would recommend to everyone to stay here!

Excellent communication. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and the property was an A+.! Rooms were very well appointed ,comfortable and clean. I have been traveling 36 years in the travel industry and felt this property had so much value. Did I mention the view and central location…both were spectacular! I cannot wait to return!

Would have liked an option to pay for late checkout. Second bedroom is a walk through loft which worked for us but just be aware if someone in your party was expecting privacy.

Lovely property, nice small pool and hot tub. Big apartment with great view of the port. Paola was a very helpful host and got someone to fix the AC promptly. Great location 1 block from the center and directly next to bus stop. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Nothing worth mentioning!

Casa Vacanze Parco Del Generale gets a top rating from us for two reasons: the perfect location, and the amazing hospitality of Paola, the endlessly resourceful host. With respect to location, we feel we couldn't have chosen more perfectly. This place is steps from what proved to be our favorite beach we visited on Ischia. Public transit is virtually at this place's doorstep. We were grateful to not have chosen a place in the interior or on more rugged terrain, which without a car would have proven isolating. Finally, the center of Forio is a five minute walk away, and we found Forio to be the liveliest and most enjoyable of the towns we visited on Ischia. Now, about Paola. I am not exaggerating when I say she was perhaps the most attentive host we've ever had in all the years of using booking.com and other hospitality apps. She had copious and amazing tips for what to do and see, where to eat, what spots to visit and which to maybe not go to. She responded graciously to every request (including when we stupidly locked ourselves out!), was charming, and so so helpful. When we return to Ischia we will not hesitate to stay here again if it's available.

What a wonderful stay we had at this accommodation in beautiful Forio. The bookings.com photos and description actually don't do this place justice, the accommodation surpassed our expectations. Our room had everything we needed. We loved the balcony off the room that looked directly at the beach. The bathroom was spacious and very clean with a great shower. The room and the complex was very clean. The accommodations location is excellent, just a short walk from the ferry wharf (just turn left when you exit the wharf and walk straight along the water front until you reach the first (and only) set of pedestrian traffic lights, cross the road here and you have arrived). It is a short walk to the Old Town that has plenty of delicious restaurants as well as a supermarket and other shops. Very close to the accommodation is a terrific bakery which quickly became our lunch stop, buying takeaway to eat it on our balcony. The beautiful beach with crystal clear water and sand is a 2 minute walk. There is plenty of free beach available as well as a paid beach. The accommodation has an outdoor shower area to wash off the sand upon returning from the beach. We also had access to 2 pools with deck chairs within the adjoining accommodation (20 metres away). This area was within lush gardens . The breakfast is a typical Italian breakfast with a fresh croissant, yoghurt, juice, coffee, packet toasts and spreads. Paola served it on trays (with a smile) to enable us to eat it on our balcony. The bus system on Ischia is good. We purchased a one day ticket (5.10 euro each) and did a lap of the island, just getting off where we wanted to look at places. It is all made perfect by the wonderful friendly host, Paola. Paola always responded quickly to our messages before our arrival. She was waiting to greet us when we arrived. At check in she had a sheet that she had created, with lots of helpful information such as suggested restaurants, things to see and do, supermarkets, etc.

Maybe a second pillow would be great for each person

The host Paola is just such an amazing person. Her recommendation and treatment was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are completely new and very comfortable and nice with a great view from the balcony from which you can enjoy the breakfast in the morning sun. Paola serves perfect italian coffee. AC works perfect. Shower is a rain shower with a lot of water. The apartment is located just 100m from a very nice sandy beach with lots of Bars and Restaurants. All of it is in distance for walking. We loved our stay immediately and regretted not being able to stay longer. We’ll come back asap

Loved our stay! The location was perfect just a short stroll to the town and the beach across the road. There are also pool facilities and a jacuzzi. Paola was amazing, super friendly and made many recommendations of cafes, restaurants and things to see and do on the island. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Paola is the best! Amazing host and tour guide. She was very helpful with advice for restaurants and experiences on the island. She really helped make our experience in Ischia fantastic. Excellent location next to large beach and Forio centre. Clean room with comfortable mattress and a lovely breakfast with croissants cappuccino coffee served on the balcony. I would highly highly recommend staying here!

The facilities were exceptional, the location was perfect with less than a ten minute walk to forio town centre. The place was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend. Our host Paula was amazing, so helpful and welcoming. She informed us on the things to do and see in ischia aswell as recommendations for restaurants etc.

Nothing not to like

A really nice studio apartment with terraces front and back (sea/mountain view) which allowed choice of sun and shade throughout the day. Set in pleasant gardens with an outdoor pool and a small heated indoor pool - bigger than a hot tub. Everything scrupulously clean and well equipped - eg plenty of hooks for hanging things! Small but very well equipped kitchenette with everything needed to cook simple meals. Location is excellent. Easy 10 minute walk to the port and pleasant small town with shops and restaurants. All buses stop outside the property. Paola spoke excellent English and was amazingly helpful and a font of knowledge/advice.

The apartment is really nice, great balcony with a view of the harbor, super close to walk into town or catch the bus anywhere you want to go. Our host Paula was amazing, so warm and friendly. She helped guide us to the apartment. Gave us excellent recommendations, booked an incredible dinner for us at a fantastic restaurant up on the mountain and so much more.

Beautiful property in an excellent location. The room has a balcony with breathtaking sea and mountain views. Very comfortable all around, with modern amenities and stylish, fresh decor. The balcony is a great place to enjoy a meal or a drink and take in those stellar views. Paola was a great hostess and made a delicious cappuccino. She brought fresh baked goods each morning and provided bottled water every day. She also offered a lot of tips about many of the beautiful sites in Forio. A++

When people say "I need a holiday after my holiday", this was Ischia and Parc Generale for us. Especially after some busy streets in Sorrento, Forio was paradise. The minute we arrived and met Paola I knew 2 nights wouldn't be enough. Paola is the friendliest, most proactive, passionate, thoughtful host! We stayed in the B&B section so had a perfect little room with mountain view, breakfast on our terrace, stunningly clean bathroom. Then when we wanted to dip we could pop into the Parc. Paola recommended loads of places for us to eat and visit, we got to a few but will have to come back for more. We only stayed 2 nights and would recommend at least 3.

For a budget price this was a nice little spot. My young adult sons were the guests, they were very happy with it all. Great location. Nice host, she was super communicative with me as I was making the arrangements. Not fancy, but clean and bright.
