We had the most wonderful experience at Casa Sofia in Ischia! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and welcoming. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, and the breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and a perfect start to the day. A special shoutout to Christian, who truly made our stay exceptional. He collected us and our luggage from the bus stop in the electric buggy which was a life saver with the steep hill up to the hotel. He also went above and beyond by booking us an unforgettable dinner at Villa Serina — the table was perfect, and the whole evening was magical. Casa Sofia is a gem, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ischia.

Our favorite stay by far! I originally booked Casa Sofia because I read the reviews in particular about the great experience everyone had with Christian the host and owner and It exceeded our expectations! The photos and videos posed do not do it justice it’s sooo much more breath taking and beautiful in real life. The ocean views and waking up to breakfast on the garden terrace with direct uninterrupted ocean views really make a perfect start to the day. Christian makes you feel so welcome and nothing is too hard, he asked us what we wanted to do each day so he could plan and organize whatever we wanted. We told him we would like to rent a boat for a day and within minutes it was organized for us. He gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations that we would have never found without him. We loved Ischia. Especially Sant Angelo’. It is 35mins from the main town but so worth it. It’s a much more authentic and peaceful side of the island. A small car free village. The views are stunning. There are lots of stairs and hills to walk so bring comfy shoes. Christian really makes this stay memorable and we are so thankful to him.

From the minute we arrived Christian made our day absolutely amazing !!! Hands down the best part of our honeymoon. He picked us up and showed us to our room but he actually surprised us and upgraded our room. Christian helped us hire a bike and gave us lots of suggestions from monuments to see to restaurants that were amazing. We couldn’t have been more grateful. Breakfast every morning was perfect and delicious. This stay is so central and is in such a perfect little spot :) Will be back for sure

As a solo traveller, it can sometimes be difficult navigating your way through new places. Christian really took care of me and made sure everything about my stay was top notch. The property and view from my room were absolutely gorgeous. I really enjoyed it here.

We loved it all!

Perched high over the bay beside Sant Angelo with breathtaking views! Christian, the proprietor could not do enough for us, a free upgrade to a junior suite (as we were honeymooners,) lovely breakfasts and he ferried us to and from the beach in his electric caddy car! The local beach is small but the best one we found, with Emanuella’s restaurant a must go to! Wonderful pastas and fish!

Our stay at Casa Sofia was exceptional. Christian could not have been more helpful or accommodating. All of his recommendations - dinner, beaches, thermal pools, wineries, etc - were all fantastic. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely - scenery was spectacular! We will definitely be coming back.

Christian went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. He ferried us up the steep hills in SantAngelo whenever we called him. All his guests’ needs were anticipated but I am sure that if we had asked for anything we particularly needed he would have attended to our needs immediately. Casa Sofia- WOW what a hotel. The views are breathtaking. The rooms are spotless. The breakfast on the terrace is wonderful. The manager Christian is absolutely incredible. He goes above and beyond to ensure his clients have a wonderful stay. He shares his expert knowledge to help you make the most of your trip to Ischia. He very kindly came to meet us and drop us off at bus station on his electric buggy. He is very prompt at responding to what's app/messages and available to support if required at all times. It really was the best service we have ever had from any hotel across the world. We are already planning our return trip. Thank you Christian.

Breakfast on the terrace was an international feast thoughtfully prepared by our wonderful host, Christian. It included Italian cornettis, German yogurts, fresh fruits and juices, cereals and muesli from various countries, homemade jams and jellies, and the fluffiest scrambled eggs made with local ingredients. The coffee and tea bar was exceptional, offering various drink choices that made me return for more. Picture this - a mesmerizing view of the deep blue Mediterranean Sea and the charm of Sant Angelo, all of it visible through a beautiful pergola covered in vibrant bougainvilleas. The view is so stunning that it will leave you spellbound.
