How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The rinse kitchen of the nearby restaurant was situated right next to our balcony and was often very noisy (smashing with plates and cutlery). Also the ventilation of the restaurant blew on our balcony.
Very nice accommodation and friendly staff. You can alway ask questions and they are willing to answer. Very well located in the centre of Aosta. Just walk outside the door and it's a one minute walk to your favourite coffee bar. Sometimes the city can get noisy but it's always just the nice vibe. When you want to be in the city? This is the place you want!

The bed could be more comfortable, I suffer from an aching back and it didn't help. Younger guests probably won't have this problem but for my age it's quite important.
The owners were very kind and helpful and gave us plenty of information about the city.

Very pretty room. Had a little fridge and everything to make a coffee. Location was ideal and the host gave us plenty of suggestions while in town.

The rooms were slightly bare and maybe needed a bit more character and charm to reflect the rich culture of the surrounding area.
Location was perfect for a town centre stay. We stayed over Christmas period and it was magical around that time! The owners were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean. The building was lovely.

The bathroom could do with some hooks. There could have been more soap provided but the hosts were very helpful in supplying more when we ran out. There were a couple of cobwebs in the bedroom (but the place was generally very clean)
Had a really lovely stay here. The location is great, right on the main pedestrian street in Aosta and close to everything in the town - the Pila gondola is an easy 15 mins walk. Carola and her husband were very communicate and helpful hosts. Beds were super warm and comfy, shower was great.

Our stay at Casa de Giorgis was absolutely great. The apartment is super nice, clean and furnished with a combination of old and modern style that made us feel very cosy. We loved having breakfast with a gorgeous view on the mountains and a green area, with some historical buildings on the side. It was located right in the centre of Aosta, along the pedestrian street, which was great - close to every caffes and restaurants as well as parking. Yet, it was not noisy at all, both cause our apartment was at the back of the building and because the centre isn't noisy in the evening. We could only hear the bells in the morning 😍 the owner is very welcoming and nice, he gave us a lot of tips as to places to eat and visit and all of them turned up to be excellent. Super recommended!

The apartment was right in the heart of the old town of Aosta. It was so convenient to attractions, restaurants and transport. it was clean, comfortable and modern but authentic.

Bed is in loft so one side has low ceiling height.
Great location. Good communication. Good value for money. 2nd time we have stayed in casa de Georgis but first time in the maisonette. All good.

Excellent location and good value for money. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Will definitely try and come back here for our next stay in Aosta.

Communication from the host could have been better. It was not at all clear in the description that there was no reception or lock box for the key. No instructions were sent in advance for getting the keys and on the day I had a bit of trouble getting through on the phone. This was despite me having made contact the day before to tell them my arrival time.
Fantastic location right on the main shopping street and although it was small the place was clean and well equipped with a great cafe opposite. I would definitely stay again.
