Restaurant staff rude and expected children to be silent and don't move and one would give dirty looks and tut

The room, although equipped with balcony and consequently a wonderful view over the sea and coast, was not large and somewhat lacking in comfort. We feel that the 4 star rating is not warranted.

The position and sea view are exceptional. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly both as regards the hotel and the restaurant.

Only downside was the breakfast which wasn’t amazing. Not enough fresh fruit but lots of cakes.

Location was amazing. You could walk to the beach in 5 mins & also to the ferry port in 10 mins where you can travel to all the islands on the Amalfi coast. It’s also quieter. Easy access to Vietri town & you can take a bus to Salerno from there. Staff at the hotel were all lovely & very helpful. Pool is very intimate & quiet. Rooms cleaned every day.

The website does imply rooms will be the superior rooms so after clarifying on the phone and requesting a window with light etc they ensured the room provided overlooked the sea which we were pleased about, although most standard rooms are outdated and have windows which just face the walls outside which may be claustrophobic to some guests. Majority of staff couldn’t speak English which made communication difficult at times without translation.

The property was a 5/10 minute walk to central Vietri Sur Mare & Ferries etc. Breakfast was nice and staff were all friendly. Parking outside and great base to see the Amalfi coast. Lovely view from restaurant on 4th floor and pool area.

The only slight issue we would comment on is the half set of steps you have to lift your suitcases up on arrival and down on departure and the intermittent choices available at breakfast - not as good as other hotels we have stayed at in Italy.

The room was fantastic. The views from the terrace were fabulous, seeing all the boats come and go. Food was great at the restaurant. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel has colourful tiles made by the famous local ceramic artisans the town is famous for. Great to stay here and visit busier tourist towns and come back to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of Vietri and the hotel.

Room had a window to the side with a small view at sea wile the other room had no view at all and view on a nearby building. The room depicted at booking .com was fresh looking but the rooms were outdated with a lot of busy colours coming at you. The floors have an uneven level so you will always carry something although there is an elevator.At the ground floor you have to take a few steps in order to reach the elevator.For people with disabilities not suitable. The hotel had been deprived of wifi reception the day before but nobody seemed to hurry to restore the connection. In front of the hotel there was a despicable smell of fish remains that could have been dealt with.

The roof garden and the breakfast facility views were impeccable. Not only the view but the breakfast was very devious with a good variety of items. That you cold walk through the garden up to the city was sooo unique. In fact you could stay in the hotel and indulge the views and you would still have a wonderfull time.

Location was a little out of the way. Had to walk quite away from hotel to town. Lift didn't let you off in town long walk or taxi ride. Have mobility issues so this was a problem. Breakfast was so so.

Reception staff were friendly and assisted with taxi booking. Clean but dated room. Had to leave before breakfast was served at 8am, but this was offered and included in price Quiet location, near the water

Couldn’t think of a bad thing to say

Amazing location and so close to all the main places you’d want to visit on the Amalfi coast. Easy to access Vespa for hire and only an hour ride away. It was tidy and comfortable. Great views and very close to a lot of great and affordable restaurants. Staff were so helpful and kind and easy to communicate with. Check in and out was very smooth and I would definitely stay again.

Our room was just under the rooftop bar, where there was a lot of activity every night and so it was quite difficult to get some rest due to the constant noise. We were very surprised by the way the receptionists treated us, not very helpful when asking about places to go, and quite poor English as opposed to other staff members of the hotel, and frankly anyone else in Vietri. Breakfast was always the same, and to our biggest surprise, without any vegetables, in particular without tomatoes!

Good location, nice room with A/C. The rooftop bar had a very nice view over the bay, and the breakfast was very nice served by a very kind lady.

We had a standard room, which wasn't as nice as the rooms pictured. The ones pictured were superior rooms. So a little misleading.

Nice hotel. Near to walk into Vietri which is lovely for lots of choice of restaurants. There is a shortcut into town if you go out on the top floor of the hotel where the swimming pool is. Just be aware there is a gate which can is locked at times, but was mostly open. Staff helpful, premises clean, nice pool and nice views.
