Amazing place to stay in Bari. Rosa and Giuseppe are so kind, welcoming and helpful. The location is incredible, right in the beautiful old town of Bari but set off on a side street so quiet and peaceful. The room was spacious and equipped with everything you need, AC and WiFi worked great! Also this was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in Italy. Rosa makes a delicious breakfast for you every morning, she even made me a bag to take with me on my early morning flight since I wouldn’t be there for breakfast. Truly an amazing stay and couldn’t recommend it more.

Not a negative, but just as an FYI, the steps to the room are steep due to the building's size and location, so bring a manageable suitcase!

Rosa is a fantastic host and provides guests with excellent, clean, and generous hospitality. She is always available via WhatsApp if not at the house and is happy to provide help in any way she can. This was our second stay here, and she remembered us from 2 years ago; return visit of many, we hope! Breakfast is excellent and prepared fresh every day with something different each time using local produce. Thank you so much again, Rosa! Ciao!

Not a problem for us but be aware the stairs to enter the rooms are steep and require managing your suitcases up them.

There was nothing we did not like.

This was a quick visit to Bari on the way back to the airport. Really easy to find from the station and pedestrianised nearly all the way. Lovely welcome from Rosa with coffee and early checkin. Best shower we have had in a fortnight! Great communication from start to finish. Personal attention at breakfast and we could choose healthy fruit and yoghurt, meat and cheese, sweet Italian treats or all the above! Prosecco in the room was a nice touch. In the old town which was the main focus of our visit. I’d choose this b and b again if I’m Puglia. Easy to get to so many places by train, bus or on a tour. Definitely recommended.

Parking is impossible in the old city; if you're coming with a car, you need to park on the side of the old city and walk to the place.

It was not our case but it could be challenging to lift your luggage through the stairs as there is not elevators on the property.

Excellent location near every interesting place in Bari, nice walking distance from restaurants and attractions. Cozy facilities serviced by Rosa who did her best to accommodate all our needs, well above and beyond. Breakfasts were one of a kind, local flavors to start our day. First time ever that we receive a beautiful thank you gift from the staff, well appreciated.

It’s a personal thing, but I wish there had been a comfortable chair to relax in. Even a folding chair that would not take up space. But such a nice place anyway.

Rosa fixed us a wonderful hot and cold breakfast every morning. Always different and any time we needed it. The location was on a little alleyway away from the noisy tourist routes but perfectly located in the historic area. Less than a 5 minute walk to the castle or the cathedral. The train station is an easy 15 minute walk on an auto free shopping street. Excellent Wi-Fi. Very easy access to the BnB for early bag drop off. Rosa sent us the lockbox and key system via WhatsApp. She is very responsive to messages. And she is an expert at using the various translation Apps. Thanks to her for a great stay.

Amazing place to stay! Great location, right in the heart of the old town. The room was very clean and nicely decorated! Rosa and Guseppe were fantastic hosts! They treated us to a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast every morning! They take care of their guests from the moment you book to the moment you leave! The hosts were very kind. The inn has a great location. It’s in the old town, but everything is modern and convenient. We had communication before and during our stay. The homemade breakfast was delicious! We love supporting locally owned spots like this with caring owners.

I h en suggestions for improvement--everything was good for me.

Rosa made a lovely breakfast daily--she changed her servings from one day to the next which was so nice. She served bruscetta most days with fresh chopped tomatoes on toast. She also served different types of Italian meats every day along with fresh-cut fruit and different pastries and cakes. The room was clean and perfect for me and my window overlooked a sweet patio area.

It's a great room in the heart of Bari. Rosa and her husband were awesome. Very helpful and good communication. Rosa prepared a nice fresh breakfast every day. On the last day, we had to leave early, so she prepared breakfast boxes for us. We definitely can recommend this accommodation.

I had a wonderful stay at Borgo Fontana! The location is fantastic and the accomodation is well maintained and comfortable. The owner is super friendly and helpful and makes great breakfast for you. 😀 The (bath)room was very nice and clean. Communication/instruction on WhatsApp was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.
