How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewIt was just perfect. The host is really really nice, very generous and friendly. The apartment is clean, quiet, cozy with private courtyard. Breakfast was good - croissants, cheese, ham, eggs. There was a heartwarming welcome drink, free coffee whenever you want. They also lend you stuff for a beach and the beaches are really close - paid one as well as the free one. 10/10.
Thank you very much ,it was pleasure have you here . Hope to see you again in the future

Verified reviewThe apartment is comfy and clean. It is equipped with everything you need, there are even sunbeds and umbrella for the beach. And the hosts Andrea and Sean are so friendly, they can give you an advice about good restaurants nearby, about public transport and they are open to help you. They bring you breakfast every morning (pizzeta, fresh croissants). We enjoyed staying in this apartment. Grazie!

Verified reviewGreat place for a vacation. The owners met us, helped us to park the car. The room is very clean, there is everything right down to the beds and beach towels. Delicious breakfast, even more than we could eat)))))) Andrea told us how to get to the beach, where the restaurants are, there are booklets with all the attractions. All stores and entertainment within walking distance. It is easy to get to Rome.

Verified reviewWe’ve been going to Nettuno for these past years and this is the BEST property that we’ve stayed into. We have enough space for our family. The property is new, it even has a mini garden and a nice table set up outside. What I appreciate the most was the fridge were stocked with different drinks. They even have nespresso coffee machine with a lot of different capsules! The owners were so approachable. I think that if you need or ask something they could provide it to you. They even provide us with breakfast everyday and this is new to us! We don’t have to go out to buy coffee and croissants. We liked everything that they brought us. Location is wise, just at the back of the train station use google map and you could find it easily. It wasn’t that far from the beach. We’ve eaten outside, there are different restaurants to choose from, we even tried food delivery if it works and it does !(Glovo) To sum it all we really had a nice stay and a good sleep where we could just relax after a day at the beach. We will definitely come back.
Wifi. We’ve tried the password but it didn’t work. But it was never been a problem to us that’s why we didn’t ask. They have tv in all the rooms, I’m not sure if one of those is a smart tv. But in our case since we wanted to bond, we just chat and talked. I don’t know maybe it’s just me that during vacation I want us to just talk and chill over wine or beer. A break from all the gadgets. :)
Thanks a lot for this great review The WiFi its never been a problem , but like you said you didn't ask , I am sure it would be resolved in seconds

Verified reviewWe stayed here at the start of June this year and had the most amazing time to celebrate our 1st year wedding anniversary. We stayed in Rome for a few nights beforehand and then carried on to Nettuno, the train was very easy and cheap to use and only an hour away. In hindsight, we would have stayed in Nettuno instead of Rome to do day trips to Rome as the hosts were happy to be tour guides around Rome which would have been great as they are fluent in Italian and English. The hosts were easy to communicate with over booking.com and met us at the train station which was a very easy walking distance to the BnB. The hosts Andrea and Sean couldn't do enough for us while we were there which made this holiday so fantastic. Excellent facilities in the BnB and all renovated in a nice modern way. We were served a lovely mix of food for breakfast every morning and then the place was cleaned while we were out exploring the beach and other top tourist spots around the area. There are cooking facilities in the BnB but with there being so many delicious and cheap restaurants to eat at, we couldn't help but eat out. There are also some supermarkets to get your own food and lovely cocktail bars to sit outside and admire the views of the beautiful rustic town and sea. Andrea and Sean guided us through Nettuno which made it so helpful to start off the holiday and they even took us to some local vineyards and wine tasting. The relaxing beach days mixed in with sight seeing in Rome makes Nettuno the most perfect holiday and these brilliant hosts are why we will be coming back again in the future.
No complaints the holiday was perfect in every way.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and thankyou for your great review. We also think it is better to stay in Nettuno as a base and then do a visit to Rome as the train is cheap and convenient and when finished, return and relax in our city. you are welcome to stay with us again on your next anniversary. Verified reviewThe place is exceptional : conveniently located to the beach and to the centre of the town(and Rome as well). It's spotlessly clean and really well- equipped with everything guests might need. It's really spacious too. The hosts are fantastic: hospitable, polite and helpful. We spent a lovely week at Andrea's apartment. They also provide breakfast, Andrea' s sister made pies for us. If ever come back to Nettuno or Rome, will definitely stay here. Highly recommended
