Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaBeing asked to email my ID was not acceptable considering rampant identification theft.
Located a short walk from train station. In an old building but with modern room furnishings, comfortable bed & nice shower/loo. Café & cornetto breakfast voucher provided at a bar close by was sufficient & good.

GermanyStreet is noisy in the morning or sometimes there are construction work next door so do not expect to be able to sleep long. Since we wake up early it was not a problem for us.
We stayed 3 adults and the room was very comfortable for everyone. Check in was very easy. Location was near perfect, very close to the old town of Lecce, breakfast takes place in a Tipical Italian coffee and allows to discover the specialty pastry of the region. Be aware this is an Italian breakfast so do not expect a buffet, you are after all in Italy 😂. Amenities are near. Parking place is big and very safe.

The apartment is recently renovated, very clean and comfortable. It is close to the station, but in same time close to the historical centre. Just perfect location. Breakfast was ok, although it offers only sweets( croissants with cream or Nutella, pasticciotto and others).

United KingdomAlthough the location is ideal for both the main station and walking distance to the historic centre, being within a busy city we did find the area to be quite noisy in the morning. Despite having shutters, external noise was still quite loud with traffic and construction work going on nearby. This might not be ideal for people sensitive to noise! Having on-site parking was a real benefit, but we did find accessing this immediately off the main street was a bit difficult as we had to get hold of the gate key first, which required accessing the property before we could park. This might be difficult for solo drivers. Self-check in wasn't the easiest, although relatively clear instructions were provided via WhatsApp by the host.
The room is located within a 'guest house', situated within a converted apartment on the second floor. The guest house is part of a mixed-use block with basement parking. Access is via a main door (shared with other guests), but each room has its own secure access via a keycard. The room has been recently renovated and is very modern, with a 'hotel like' feel. Coffee and tea plus a variety of snacks were provided in the room, along with a mini-fridge including a bottle of water on arrival. The bathroom was spacious and also very clean. We opted for 'breakfast included' and this consisted of vouchers which could be used at a nice quiet and friendly 'bar' a very short walk from the property, to redeem a coffee and pastry. The aircon unit was modern, effective and quiet. The TV was networked, so you can use Netflix etc. - although we didn't use it. The location is very close to the central station and a short (10 mins) walk to the historic centre of Lecce. Parking for our rental car was included for an additional charge and this was a secure garage in the basement. The host was very friendly, helpful and checked in on us via WhatsApp after our first night. We found the property to be very good value for money!

MaltaThe owners / managers went out of their way to accommodate our needs. We had a request about a power adapter, about an ironing board, and they just helped us. The place is amazing as well, new, very clean. We don't often review the places we stay at, but the service was just great. Can highly recommend.

United StatesThe building owner should have better lights near the entrance gate.
What a great surprise this B&B was for us. It was very close to train station (2 mins). The walk to the center was nice and safe (9:00pm) to get something to eat. There is a market diagonally across the street where we could pick up water and snacks. The bed was nice a firm. The bathroom was awesome. The entire room was so clean and spotless. The breakfast was good. The coffee machine was excellent. The bathroom was marble walls and had a very awesome shower. The air conditioner worked really well and kept the room comfortable for us to sleep.
