How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewExcellent location. The rooms are simply furnished but comfortable. The bathroom is large and highly functional. Both rooms and premises are clean and well kept. Breakfast is superb. The whole vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Generous parking lots. The views are amazing and the owner is forthcoming and always willing to help. Highly recommended .

Verified reviewThe only good things about the hotel were the location and parking.
One of the worst hotel experiences ever. Not even remotely a 4-star standard. 2-star at best. No justification for the price. -pictures shows different room. -no AC or fan - forget good night sleep in summer - dusty floor - no tea/coffee/water/cattle available in the room (tea/hot water cost 3 EUR a cup to purchase from machine downstairs) - no vanity kit - safebox had no key to lock it - room door did not lock from inside - a single (1) socket capable of charging phones and devices - lift would not go down beyond the 1st floor (sign of technical issues?) - no staff at the reception after 3PM - ceiling beams convenient to hit your head. Couldn't wait to leave.

Verified reviewWe loved the facilities — pool, sauna, gym. Our bedroom was clean and lovely, very comfortable.
We didn’t like that we weren’t formally checked in by a staff member. We came in and just picked up our keys from the table and went on our way. The lack of introduction meant we missed a few details of our stay, like hanging the door tag on the door for housekeeping. We went the entire 3 days without a housekeeper to tidy up because of this. We also didn’t know how to close the blinds on our window, so we slept with the porch light in our room for two days. It wasn’t until the third night that we figured it out. We got a number of bug bites because of this! We also had no idea what the guest pass was for. There just seemed to be a lapse in communication on some fundamental things, which got a bit annoying. We also experienced the irony of staying on the property when a (very loud) heavy metal concert took place just down the road, while it interesting it was annoying that it went through the night and the cost of our stay wasn’t accommodated for the inconvenience of not being able to sleep when death metal was permeating the entire property. Otherwise, we loved everything else. Very little complaints.

Verified reviewLocation very peaceful with superb view on mountains. Facilities are newly furnished, lovely balcony to sit and enjoy mountain view. Rental bike fab, allowed us to immerse into nature and also get to Braies, avoiding to drive up. Pool was a nice plus. Overall staff very kind and helpful.
Bedroom should have at least a kettle to enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee when back in your hotel room. Downside not to have restaurant for dinner. You have to book ahead and drive to get to a restaurant anywhere.

Verified reviewThe location of the properly is just perfect if you plan smaller or bigger hikes. The manager has gave us the perfect routes, that were less busy with tourists but as gorgeous… after the hiking you can relax in sauna or swimming pool. Hotel has an excellently equipped gym (perfect for cross fit enthusiasts). The food delivery is great, and you can eat downstairs by enjoying the views to the mountains.

Just 2 small details - Water temperature of the pool. Was good to swim, but could be one or two degree warmer to play with the kids. - Fan would be great in the rooms under the roof, to push the hot air out. And mosquito net on the windows. Facing the woods with the lights staying on on the terrasse during the night and no way to switch it off, meant either hot room or cool air but mosquitos

Verified reviewWe spent 2 nights in the hotel, and we really enjoyed it. It is nicely located with a beautiful view and the Director is really nice and provides great tips (Restaurants, biking tours,…) . They have e-bikes, you can borrow for free, which enables to go for great bike tours around the area. We would come back any time !!
