Amazing palazzo in the heart of Lecce. Stunning rooms, great air con with a private terrace (suite room). Perfect location close to everything, can’t thank them enough, breakfast was fit for kings. Amazing foods and choices. Thank you!

    Nothing at all

Location was excellent. Bed very comfortable. Air con was great. Nice typical Italian breakfast-very tasty. All staff were fantastic, stepped up to the mark. Cose in particular went out of his way to help us sort out our next destination. We stayed in the attic room. Had own terrace. And a visit from the hosts cat 😄

The noise from the bars during early hours. Ear plugs a must. 🙂

The staff were lovely and very friendly, always looking after us and ensuring we were happy with the food and accomodation. It was a rare experience, the palazxo had a real charm, not to mention a stunning view from the balcony and delicious breakfasts.

Everything was fantastic - the staff will attend to whatever needs you have.

Location in the old town and staff very friendly

The room had no view and very small window up high. Also the photos on Booking.com suggested that the room had a balcony but it doesn’t. The bathroom was tiny and dated. The breakfast very poor and the breakfast room was very hot with no air conditioning

The palazzo is an architectural jewel, beautiful restored and authentic in its furnishings. The penthouse suite terrace and breakfast room is particularly special.thank you to the gracious hosts Francesca and her husband it was a wonderful experience. The palazzo is situated in the heart of the Centro zona, steps away from the lovely action. Grazie

Location was excellent, room was spacious, light, airy and quiet.

We stayed 3 nights, and it would have been nice to have been offered fresh towels, but other than that, nothing was dislikable. And to be fair, we didn't ask about fresh towels.

The location was excellent. The apartment was in a magnificent historical building, with, nonetheless, very effective air-conditioning in both bedrooms.

Both the second bedroom and the bathroom are accessible only through the main bedroom. Whoever is using the second bedroom has to go through the main bedroom to reach it, and to reach the bathroom from that bedroom must again cross the main bedroom. This less-than-ideal arrangement may work for a couple with young children, but is likely to be socially awkward for any other grouping. Breakfast is brought to the apartment; there are no facilities for self-catering (it is a B&B - which is how it describes itself - rather than an apartment). What brings our score down is that the otherwise superb terraces were not well maintained, or even kept clean. The wi-fi was not always reliable.

We highly appreciated the elegance, spaciousness and privacy of the apartment - it was entirely original with family paintings adorning the walls- as best as we could tell this was a genuine palazzo lifestyle experience

Following a day of persistent heavy rain the electricity failed in our apartment but Francesca was able to move us to another less convenient apartment for one night until the electricity supply was restored to our booked apartment.

Location, Historical building. Very close to railway station. 10 min walk. Francesca and Cose welcoming and generous. Breakfast with baked goods delicious. The roof terrace was nice to enjoy the sunshine and a coffee.

Stairs leading to our room, narrow and steep. Cose did carry our luggage but nonetheless maybe a problem for unfit or older people. Our room was a basic room not one with the beautiful furnishings. Bathroom small particularly shower recess.

Location right in the old town & breakfast of local pastries

I was excited to stay here after the excellent reviews and photos, but the photos are not accurate. You only get rooftop access with certain rooms and the beautiful green garden to dine in is only for the restaurant below. We sadly booked the last available room which was the double room, it was very plain and I can only recommend if you are doing a one night stay. The toilet was frustrating as it was halfway under the sink so when you sit on the toilet you are over the sink.

We have had a perfect few days in the very south of Italy, and Lecce could not have been a better choice for our last two nights. What made it particularly special was our accommodation in B&B Sambiasi; it is right in the historical centre but incredibly peaceful and quiet. The hosts, Francesca and her husband, were kind, welcoming and accommodating and the space itself was nothing short of spectacular. Very highly recommended - we would definitely stay again.

Excellent location in the old town, though you need to be aware of the ZTL (limited traffic access zone) times if you want to drive in to drop/pick up luggage. Comfortable, spacious room, good bathroom. Friendly and helpful host and staff Good choice of breakfast items

Our room had no outside view, though there were small windows at the top of the 5m high walls and a tiny enclosed outside space open to the sky

Everything. First of all, Francesca, with her big smile. She will do anything to make you comfortable. She guided us to free parking and was always available for any need. The palazzo is in a great location, and our rooftop room was wonderful. Don't miss this place.

    All good

Francesca and Jose were wonderful. Bed was clean, and the rooftop patio is quaint and has nice flowers.

We found this part of town to be very noisy at night. Also it felt a little rough around the edges - it seems to be in a less desirable part of the Lecce old town area. Was disappointed that the water was not suitable for drinking and there was very little hot water in the shower at any given time. Also the presence of cats is pretty obvious, and there was a bad odour in the apartment. The air was stuffy and not great for anyone with allergies.

Very nice hosts. Great penthouse apartment with huge terrace. Use blankets as heating in the winter is not efficient. Free parking on street about 500 meters from apartment.

The location was excellent. The owners are lovely and attentive. They provided a delicious breakfast.

I was initially put in the wrong room, but the owners kindly move me to the room I preferred. There is a attic apartment that was not clearly marked on the booking website and needs to be clarified P
