Less than 10 min walk to Modena train station. Modern design of bedroom. Wifi was working ok.

The shelf above the bed, the bed frame, and other parts of the room have not been dusted for months!! Toilet seat was broken. Lamp in entrance hall did not work. Room was adjacent to kitchen/ common room (noisy if there are other guests).

    Property response:

Thanks for the review and we hope to improve ! Sorry for the broken toilet. Now that I know about it I will adjust it! Nothing was said during your stay .. maybe next time let the guest know so I can manage everything. Thanks again and sorry for the inconvenience

What a perfect place to stay ! So close to the town centre - walking distance, easily. Very clean and tidy, with a lovely outdoor patio. It was self check-in, and we were a bit early - our host was very kind about it and able to bring forward the check-in time. The instructions on how to find the apartment seemed complicated (photos of doors and stairs, 2 different codes) but in fact were extremely easy to follow and very clear.

    Property response:

Many many thanks! Lovely people and lovely review! Thanks a lot

Excellent place! When I'll return to Modena I definitely will choose this place for me. Clean, comfortable. Lots of towels, hairdryer, iron, kettle in the room with the tea. And you also have the kitchen downstairs. Well.. it's just perfect. Very polite hostess. And it was interesting to find out the way to the room like in quest ☺️

No breakfast but cafe downstairs. Room only, no hotel facilities, fair enough at the price. Recommend arriving in daylight as a little difficult to find and then to navigate the stairways etc. Easy parking on street. Room excellent, good wifi. Right beside the Ferrari museums.

    Property response:

Thanks a lot!! Lovely words :D For the lights: there’re buttons to switch on and off that illuminate stairs and terrace, maybe you didn’t see them! thanks again !!

This car-themed apartment was the perfect place for an overnight stay to visit the Ferrari Museum; you can't get any closer as it is right around the corner! Shared private area and patio space as well. Free street parking was very convenient for us as we were on a road trip, and the host was helpful with instructions for check in and check out.

The space was a bit small, which was no problem for us since we were only staying one night.

    Property response:

Thanks a lot for the fair review and that you like my Ferrari room! :) Yes, The room is the smallest of the 3! Thanks again!

The bed was hard enough for a good sleep

There was no water pressure in the shower

    Property response:

Obviously, I was prepared for this review but I am not at all happy as it inevitably lowers the average due to spitefulness on the part of the guest. - the reason of low water pressure is not the real one; also I explained that it is not possible to change the pressure of an entire apartment building and it is normal to have less pressure at certain times of the day. It is also strange because the room is on the ground floor and it is the only one that has never had problems of this nature and it seems quite ridiculous to me to point it out as a problem; it seems that the guest has not been able to wash himself in 5 nights...come on!! And now we come to the real motivation: it s simply revenge because the cleaning lady did her job. Having a refrigerator in the common part of the facility, housekeeping included emptying it following check-outs. The guest requested to leave the bags until the evening and I allowed free of charge with no problem but he did not tell me he was going to leave things in the fridge and did not leave messages about the product indicating it was not to be thrown away. My colleague emptied the fridge of leftovers including a few cents bar. The guest, not finding the candy bar, demanded that the girl leave a refund of 1 euro. Appalled by the request I replied that it was a simple miscommunication, we apologized for the inconvenience but she simply did her job and I would not agree to any refund. I was accused of stealing time and money and of having no respect for other people s property. A bar of less than one euro. The guest s response can be found here: grade 5 and staff grade 2.5 . sometimes hosting people can be quite...stressful.

Very friendly host. There is also a nice terrace space. I don't think it's a great value for the price but the room was clean and comfortable

    Property response:

Thanks for the kind things about me and my room: your words said it all :) I still don’t understand why you choose me instead of other places and still complained about the price. Very odd, because I’m not the expensive one :D

Convenient location - close to the train station but also easily reachable by car and you can park in front for free. Themed room with some nice details in it. Clean bathroom. There is also a shared kitchen with a lot of appliances that you can use. And a nice terrace.

The pillows were not very comfortable. And in case you have a lot of luggage - there are quite some stairs you need to take and the room is not big.

    Property response:

Thanks for your kind words and the nice and accurate review! - I’m sorry for the pillows but it is a subjective thing: in each room I also have a pillow different from the other to try to please as many people as possible. - the presence of stairs and the size of the room do not depend on the number or size of the suitcases: they are a well-indicated and fixed feature. If you do not evaluate your travel needs and at the same time you do not read the descriptions of the room but only look at the price, you risk to be disappointed or happy in half. It’s hard but it’s the truth. There’re plenty of photos showing the presence of stairs and also the room size (14mq) where you obviously can see that is not a big room.. Thanks again!

The location is great. 10-15 minutes from the city center, 5 minutes from the Enzo Ferrari museum and 10 minutes from the Central Station. We stayed in the Ferrari room, it was very nicely decorated. Our host, Teresa, was nice enough to give us recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. In the building next door there is a caffee with good coffee, sandwiches and croissants, which were perfect for breakfast.

Not being able to control the room temperature. The room was very cold. From our understanding from Teresa, the guests before us closed the radiator and nobody turned it back on after that. As she controlled the airconditioner by phone, she was kind enough to turn it on for us for a couple of hours until the radiator was heated. Unfortunately the heating sistem (radiator) was on a automatic schedule and was not on all of the time. Because of this, when the heating was on, it was nice and warm in the room but when it was off, it got very cold, very quickly, as it was December. We talked about this with Teresa and she told us that we had 26 degrees in our room. We did not have a thermostat in the room but my guess is that hers migh have been broken as, from our experience with temperatures, there were not even 20 degrees there.

    Property response:

Dear Tania, thank you for the kind words, really detailed and useful as a review. Thank you also for acknowledging my timeliness in solving the problem but I was waiting for the negative part and I am ready to respond to your report: it is true that the previous guests had closed the valve of the radiator in the room (while the one in the bathroom remained on) and unfortunately the morning housekeeper did not notice this, but you stayed 3 days and this was only a problem of the first few hours spent in the room. Once the temperature had reached its normal level and the normal programming of the radiators was in operation, I turned off the air conditioning (and it is true that it indicated 26 degrees, nothing is broken). In Modena - as in the whole of Italy - there are rules on the maximum temperature at which rooms and houses must be kept and the maximum time boilers must be switched on, so radiators can NEVER remain constantly on day and night. For the same reason, guests have no control over temperatures. I would like to point out that the guests in the other two rooms have not experienced this problem nor have they had any cold problems. I am truly sorry because you had a moment of bad luck but it lasted one afternoon out of a three-day stay. Thanks anyway.
