A real italian experience. Hosts were very welcoming, gave us advice on where to go and what transport to use etc. Plus gave us a lift to a bus station or came to pick us up afterwards. Our stay was very convenient. Also breakfasts were very filling. Definitely a positive experience.

For me nothing. My only concern when I arrived was the dog: I think I should have been told about Bananajay, as I'm not easy with dogs. But Bananajay is a very sweet natured dog so there was no problem.

Everything - almost 10/10. Fabulous welcome from Anna, she is so kind and nice. I was served a fantastic afternoon tea (cappuccino) upon my arrival. Breakfast was marvelous, I couldn't eat it all. And Anna would give me a packed lunch as well. I was met by Pietro (Anna's husband) in Sorrento and driven to the B&B. It should be noted that B&b Arcobaleno is a long way out from Sorrento and there is no public transport and a hire car up there would be very tricky. No worries because Pietro will drive you into Sorrento and collect you, whenever you want. The room was a decent size with a small balcony, and a good bathroom with shower. There are no facilities close by, like a shop or laundry, at least not what I could see. The house and gardens are lovely and laid out in such a way that you feel as if you have the whole place to yourself. The owner, Raffeale is easily contactable through whats-up, so all of my questions and rendezvous requests were immediately answered. A superb base from which to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum and to have a good rest afterwards.

Anna, Raphael, and Pietro embody Italian hospitality, offering an updated version of the 19th century Grand Tour. This welcoming family makes you feel at home. Each day, Anna brings a cornucopia of breakfast items: omelettes, tomatoes, artisanal lemon marmalade (from her lovely garden), mozzarella, meat, olives, bread, coffee, and much more! The room was comfortable, clean and featured a lovely balcony where you can sip wine and coffee as you overlook lemon and orange trees. There’s even a dog! Ever gracious, Anna and Pietro supplied everything, offering excellent advice and booking reservations, a boon for the whimsical traveler deciding to hop to Sorrento for a few day. The location for me was a little out of the way but the hosts drove me to town and picked me up whenever I needed, so not really an issue.

Anna and Pietro are truly an amazing people and best hosts! They are very friendly and welcoming! They’re doing their best to make you feel like at home. Anna is a great cook and makes a fantastic breakfast with a variety of choice and yummy cappuccino! The house is situated not far from the centre and Anna and Pietro were happy to give us a lift everyday with no problems. We highly recommend the place and we can’t wait to come back!

We couldn't be happier with our choice of accommodations in Sorrento! Anna and Pietro made us feel more like family than guests with a wonderful breakfast every morning and insisting on preparing a lunch and driving us into town for our excursions everyday. The property is a peaceful garden full of flowers, herbs, and fruit trees located up on the hill away from the hustle and bustle, close to town but feels like miles away! Tiny shower which is like 3’x3’ so if you’re of any size, girth something to be aware of perhaps traditional in homes such as this. Not within walking distance of town.

Just wish it was closer to the center of town. It’s is definitely out of the way and truly need to rely on the hosts to transport you down the mountain. However they are very accommodating and this location is very quiet.

The host went above and beyond our expectations. Home made breakfast was outstanding everyday. Hosts would drive and pick you up in the center of Sorrento. Hosts made wonderful local dining recommendations that’s were perfect and also help us arrange our transportation back to Napoli.

Wonderful hosts who went out of their way to make our stay welcoming and nothing was too much for them from providing an extensive breakfast each morning and providing a packed lunch for our daily excursions. The premises were just out of Sorrento in the hills and the hosts were available 24/7 to take us into and collet us from Sorrento. The hosts were also very helpful in giving recommendations for local restaurants and advices as to places to visit. In short the hosts made you feel part of their family and were always there with a smile. Thank you Anna and Pietro.

Everything is GREAT!!!

The stay at B&B L'Arcobaleno was unforgettable!!! I felt like at home. I booked a bed and breakfast, but very kind owner Ana kept preparing packed lunches... Since I arrived in the evening, she also served me dinner. All the food is homemade, delicious, varied... In one word, I enjoyed it!!! In addition, Ana is always ready to take you where you need to go and pick you up, even though the accommodation is not far from the city center. Thank you so much, dear Ana! Thanks for everything!!! For kindness, kindness, help, attention... By the way, I have to emphasize the beauty of the garden around the house, with an extraordinary view of the whole of Sorrento. It is an understatement to say that I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at B&B L'Arcobaleno!!! My rating is 10/10! I can't wait to go there again. ❤️

I really enjoyed my stay here. The view was amazing and I felt very safe travelling alone. Previous reviews are accurate with an amazing breakfast, packed lunch and lifts into town with a quick message or call. I wanted to start my days early which Anna was more than happy to facilitate. She helped me book a tour through her friend as well as help planning other ideas. She even did my laundry each day! I felt very welcome and would stay there again.

Anna and Pietro were the most wonderful hosts we could ever ask for. It truly was a home away from home. The room was always kept clean and restocked. Anna always provided a very generous (and yummy!) breakfast in the morning with the most beautiful views from her garden. There was kindness, generosity and love radiating from every corner of the room. She provided lunch to take away with us when out for the day and even offered dinner or recommended restaurants for the evening. The experience here was so special and I could not recommend it more. From Pietro always dropping us off and picking us up, to always going to bed with a full stomach and happy heart. The photos do not do this place justice. I most definitely will be back.

The shower, though serviceable was pretty small with no shelf for soaps but that wasn’t a big concern for us.

Ana was a fantastic, friendly host. You could tell she loved making her guests feel at home and was very knowledgeable about the area. She, her husband or her son was always available through WhatsApp. They drove us to and from the outside of Sorrento (outside of the ZTL area) and train station when needed. Ana’s breakfast was amazing. She set it out on our terrace at the time we requested and it exceeded our expectations. There were many fresh and homemade choices for just the two of us (see photo). She even provided fresh sandwiches, fruit and bottled drinks when we checked out. The property was a gardeners delight of terraced flowers, fruits and vegetables above the city and at night the city lights below were beautiful (photo).

We loved our stay here! The breakfasts were great and we also received packed lunches. If we needed a ride to the center, they would provide one, which was so sweet of them. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Sorrento!
