Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandSpent a fantastic week in Corte Kampanes in Gallipoli The room was spacious, airy and spotless clean. Situated in the old town and a 2 minute walk to the local beach. Our host Federica went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable (Thanks so much Federica for your exceptional hospitality) The breakfast was beautifully laid out each morning with a variety of pastries, yoghurts, fresh fruit, meats and eggs cooked to your taste (and a beautiful cappuccino to start our day). I would definitely recommend this beautiful B&B and one day hope to return. Greeting from Dublin Federica xxx

United KingdomTHe steps would make it tricky for the less able traveller. I'll be back but with less luggage next time... and would probably go out of season as the town is very hectic in August
Federica and her mother/aunt were lovely friendly and helpful. The apartments are well appointed in the historic centr of Gallipoli and beautifully restored and furnished. I loved the terrace and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. I was there fr 8 days and didnt get bored with it at all, there was always plenty of choice and the coffee and pasticciotto were to die for. Great beaches and lots to see nearby

United KingdomThe stairs to the Palazzo are steep and this should be explained in the information about the property. The rooms can be noisy but not a big deal.
Federica is a star, so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and enjoyed eating it on the terrace. Very good location for the old town and beach.

United StatesGiven our age, having bathroom and beds on same floor would have been nice, but really minor.
Frederica was fantastic. Helping with parking, toting our heavy luggage, recommending restaurants…could not be happier. Plus she is super nice!

United KingdomThe bed is upstairs and bathroom downstairs and stairs are noisy. Fine if you don’t keep getting up in the night, but I do. Noise was heightened as in the middle of the old town so very difficult to sleep. This is no fault of the host as otherwise it’s a good location.
Breakfast was gorgeous and room was lovely and clean. Beautiful rooftop terrace with views to the sea and available for breakfast also. Frederica was very helpful and lovely.

New Zealandall was perfect
The location was perfect in the old town - the B & B has been beautifully designed within an old building - tastefully decorated in the style of the era of the building - very spacious, felt like a loft apartment. The bedroom is on a mezzanine within the space, so again lots of space to unpack and spread. Absolutely loved it - it set a high bar and so was disappointed with my next accomodation!

SwitzerlandThe walls to adjoining rooms are thin, we were worried our child would keep our neighbors up but thankfully everyone was really nice!
Beautiful place, the room is spacious and comfortable. Great location and wonderful host! Thanks to the excellent communication from Federica we were well prepared for the arrival with details on how to reach the property, we came by car and parked by the port which was easy and only a short walk to the BnB. The room has good Airconditioning and bathroom is top notch with well functioning shower and bidet! Breakfast was also very nice (classic Italian with sweet pastries but also eggs, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit and toast). Federica took great care of us!

United StatesNothing!
Honestly, everything about this place was amazing. Federica was so helpful and amazing. She served a lovely breakfast each morning, helped us by printing off some things that we needed last minute, and gave us great recommendations for bars and restaurants nearby. The room was outstanding- very well decorated and cleansed each day. Spacious and homey - we even had a nice balcony to get sun and relax for a glass of wine. WiFi was also 10/10. Would stay again 100%!

SwedenI had 3 beautiful days in Gallipolli. I liked the room which was modern but authentic, location was excellent, and I appreciate the service and the restaurants that were recommended. They were all busy but I managed to get a seat as a solotraveler. I stayed during the Ferragosto week which was busy, but in a positive way with many activities going on (fireworks, religious and musical parades etc.) On a hot day it was great having a 2 minute walk in the shade to the beach Purita which was clean and had clean waters. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was also varied each day (didn't leave on an empty stomach). If in Gallipolli I would stay here again.
