Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustriaThe window in our room faced the inside of the building, and there was an overpowering perfume/incense smell in the bathroom. Additionally, the B&B uses a strange online check-in procedure (which includes uploading a picture of yourself holding ID to a third-party website)— it was possible to check in in person after our request but it involved a bit of coordination over WhatsApp.
Excellent location, comfortable beds, a generous selection of complimentary beverages and snacks, access to a lovely rooftop terrace

United KingdomI concur with other comments that the walls are very thin. This is only really an issue if you have especially noisy neighbours, which we did for one night of our stay. But honestly, the pros of this b and b very much outweigh this minor issue.
This property is fantastic. Extremely well located to explore the whole city and with loads of the most highly recommended restaurants just a short walk away. We arrived late at night but check in couldn’t have been easier. We were sent a link to remotely open the doors and access the property, where we found our key card at reception. The room was a good size, with comfortable beds and refreshments topped up daily. Breakfast at the cafe downstairs was a great way to try local pastries and good coffee to start the day. Friendly staff. Lovely terrace with a view.

SwitzerlandThe terrace is stunning, the rooms are big, you even have sleepers and coffee/tea maker with little something in case you want to eat. So definitely a 4* level for me compared to any other 3* hotel I have been in the area! It was a bit like a treasure hunt but everything is communicated properly you just have to follow the instruction given by email and I really liked the fact you can open the doors with your phone! Luca is also easily reachable and very kind in case you have questions or requests. The situation is ideal, you have an elevator to reach the last floor where the B&B is, you have taxi stop nearby, it’s literally at the Galleria Umberto I.

United StatesTowels were not changed, but we only had two nights so we didn’t care much. The walls a bit thin , you can hear if neighbors talk too loud
Nice small BB in the excellent location, close to port and in the heart of city. Room is clean, we had a balcony with amazing views. It’s on 5th floor but there is an elevator. Breakfast is served in small cafe near by.

United KingdomThe quality of the room furnishings was fantastic, the only slight negative was the loud noise that the neighbours toilet made in the night. But not something that would put me off staying here again.
We really enjoyed the location, it was easy to walk to the start of many of the walking tours and the breakfast provided in collaboration with the bakery next door was delicious. Fast air conditioning too after returning to the apartment and a lovely balcony space.

United StatesContrary to previous reviews, there was no breakfast? When we asked about it, we were directed to a cafe a couple of doors down who gave us a pastry and coffee free when we told them we were AP guests. No fruit or other foods. Perhaps breakfast is only served in the summer? Which is fine, but tell people. Also walls are pretty thin, I could hear everything that went on next door, including the baby who cried all night.
Luca is exceptionally helpful and nice. The rooms and balcony were an acceptable size. The location is fantastic, close to restaurants, transportation, activities. Nice to have a clothesline, although it was broken in one of our rooms.

This was a perfect location to go to an opera at the Teatro San Carlo - which is 5 minutes walk away. Super central location just a few metres from the bustling Via Toledo but in a quiet side street. I had a balcony with great views in one direction toward Vesuvius and in the other, the Vomero and San Martino. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean and had a nice selection of snacks and kettle for tea and coffee.

CanadaNothing really. But one has to keep in mind that it is a B&B, therefore the front desk is not manned all the time.
I chose this property based on the location, the reviews I had read about the property, the photos of the property and the fact that it had a terrace where breakfast could be enjoyed and if desired, one could spend time on in the evening. The property, the terrace and the location exceeded my expectations! The breakfast was delicious and Stefania and Marco were so kind and helpful. As a woman travelling alone to Naples, this honestly was the perfect place for me to stay. Also loved the fact that it was so close to Quartiere Spagnoli, the waterfront and other points of interest in the city. Highly recommend and if I ever get back to Naples (I hope I do), I would stay at this B&B again.

AustraliaThere seemed to be a communication issue with car parking and they were not able to give us the information before we arrived. There is no parking on the property as it’s in a very busy area close to the closed off property pedestrian area. However there are plenty of car parking garages two to three blocks away. We paid 30 euros for 24 hours. Not sure if you can pre book as some were booked out.
Position is in the middle of shops and restaurants and walking distance to port area. The building is historic with a big wooden door The B and B is on the 5th floor via a lift. Breakfast with a view over the building tops was plentiful. You can see the Galleria. Rooms was clean and comfortable with a comfortable large balcony overlooking the busy streets. We could see the royal palace from our balcony.
