How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The elevator is outdated (not their fault as the building is old) but if you’re coming as a group, aith plenty of luggages, it takes time. The air conditioner is not the strongest and we stayed during the summer (temperatures outside reach 35 degrees). No thermos available for hot water and the bathroom is quite small. We had a family room and didn’t have much space to open our luggages. The room also felt a bit dark and gloomy.
Superb location next to Rome Termini with plenty of restaurants and shops next door. Major attractions like the Colosseum are walkable (within 20-30 minutes). Staff are really nice and helpful.

The property was very clean and very spacious. The hosts were very kind and always open to help with everything ! I highly recommend this place.

Everything was great.
The location was excellent, very friendly and helpful staff, the room was very clean, very nice having an aircon in the heat of summer. Reception on duty 24 hours a day which was great.

The staff was very responsive and helpful. Especially I liked the approach of the guy. He told that the previous guest had broken the glass in the bathroom, and we had to wait for an hour before the check-in. But from his side he suggested a complimentary breakfast. It was nice

you have to ring the reception every time you enter the building and then when you want to enter a corridors to your apartment, but they answer instantly

elevator didn't work we very upset.

The noise of the air con

No fridge and rooms don’t look exactly like pictures (more basic) but was fine for us!
Everything you need and in a great location for a short stay in Rome. But the staff made this place, they were so helpful, so kind and attentive. Would stay here again purely for the staff!

It was a bit noisy.
Our stay at the hotel was excellent! The location is perfect - just a few minutes walk from Termini station, which made getting around Rome extremely easy. The room was clean and well equipped, with a comfortable bed - perfect for relaxing after long walks. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to help with a smile. Thanks to Mahatab. We would stay here again without hesitation and would happily recommend the hotel to anyone looking for comfort and convenience in the heart of Rome!

Safe and secure place to stay with good access to public transport and local attractions. The Roma Termini train station and metro is very close which made the arrival and sightseeing very easy. Plenty of restaurants, a supermarket and souvenir shops close by. The receptionist was very welcoming and ensured all our needs were met. We were also provided free luggage storage on the day of departure which was great. The hotel had two different intercom securities to pass through which made the hotel feel very safe and secure. The room was clean, bedding was comfortable, towels were changed after two days, the bathroom was clean and soap and shampoo were provided. The hot shower worked well most of the time. The wifi was great.

Bathroom is a bit small but considering the price I've paid it's still a bargain i would say.
