We arrived in the dark and the road up wasn’t well signed, but it’s not a problem, just needs better directions.

The property is off a long climbing road which gives little indication that there’s a very cute hamlet at the top. The property is simply furnished but comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is served in a tiny, characteristic room with great coffee and sweet pastries. Our host was very friendly and attentive. It’s very peaceful - nothing there but would be a great base for a night or two if you want to get away from it all.

Check in is when the restaurant staff arrives to prepare dinner. Make sure you have arrangements if you are early.

It is really a piccolo borgo. Excellent location, fantastic views from the balcony in the Primula room. Dinner was amazing, breakfast as well. Book a table for dinner. Very friendly staff.

Some of the passages in the room were a bit challenging for a tall person - but this is expected in an historical building, so no big deal

Nice location inside a charming and well preserved medeval village, not far away from the main hi-way. Hotel is located in an old well maintained building. Caring and wellcoming staff. Rooms very clean. Our room had a nice balcony ovelooking the village. Very good restaurant on site! If you need to make a stop between Rome and Naples dont miss this place.

I stayed with my family (14 people) for two days there. The stay was so special. First of all the place was magical, then the owners of the place who helped us with everything, setting up a restaurant, trips in the area, additions to the room and even a tour of the town. I recommend everyone who is looking for a little different Italy to visit the place. Dinner at the local restaurant was one of the best! Thank you Sabrina and Jani. amazing

The air conditioner was loud and a bit blowy but we just switched it off. Mosquitoes, but they’re everywhere.

We loved this place. It’s extremely old and looks as if once it was part of the wall that walled the tiny hill town of Castelnuovo Parano. Only a few rooms but we had the one with the arched terrace. It was really quiet so after a long drive it felt very calm and peaceful. We had breakfast on the terrace and you can have lunch and dinner at the restaurant. The staff are great as well. Nothing is a problem. Montecasino is nearby and the sea is only half an hour away. We went to Gaeta which was very interesting.

Not a single thing. It was wonderful.

What a beautiful location! The owner saved us as I booked the wrong night but she accommodated us anyway with the kindness we hadn’t seen our whole trip. She was so wonderful. Her rooms were impeccably clean, comfortable, updated, air conditioned and a beautiful view. We loved loved loved it. Breakfast was included and delicious. I want to express that if you can, stay at her inn. It was perfection.

Staff are on a different level , over two days, I’ve seen people come for the food from far away towns and the tables are full! the surrounding is simply magical and parking is free

We stayed at this little gem one night en route from Tuscany to the Amalfi Coast. The room was beautiful, clean and had a nice view from the balcony. The staff is extraordinarily accommodating and friendly.

Vey noisy all night long, rooms poorly soundproofed, staff did only talk to themselves, not to us. They disappeared.
