We liked everything here at the accommodation. 5 mins walk to centre, restaurants & shops. The beach is 11km away & we cycled. Its very easy & flat cycle routes. Owners are very friendly & breakfast is fab. Lots of choice. There is a pet rabbit in the beautiful garden, so cute & friendly too.

We had a ground floor room with a balcony leading to the garden, which we loved. The owners are charming and the breakfasts were excellent. The hotel is very convenient for central Ravenna, especially San Vitale, but is like an oasis in the city.

    Nothing.

Beautiful spacious and comfortable property with a gorgeous garden with friendly bunny Rudy. Lovely room with well fitted and designed bathroom all kept spotlessly clean every day. Breakfast was delicious - so enjoyed the fresh fruit and creamy yoghurt. Perfect location and hotel standard accommodation.

    Niente/Nothing !

Our time at Ai Giardini di San Vitale was very enjoyable. Everything about the property was just perfect. Our hosts, Concetto and Monica made us feel at home. Breakfasts on the patio overlooking Monica’s beautiful garden we very enjoyable. Our time in Ravenna was very relaxing and Ai Giardini di San Vitale is just a short walk into the town. We hope to return to Ravenna soon and we look forward to another visit with Concetto and Monica.

We would have liked to stay at Ai Giardini di San Vitale longer.

Breakfast was absolutely lovely with a secret garden in the back. The room was comfortable and spacious and the staff couldn't be more lovely.

The location is a little way from the old heart of the city.

This is the most fairytale accommodation you can get in Ravenna: the house it beautiful, quiet and warm, within minutes of the city center, San Vitale and Galla Placidia. The rooms are comfortable and with a lot of character, the garden is magical and most of all, the gentleman who runs it is the prototype of a grumpy but loving fairytale grandfather (think Peter Falk in Princess Bride). The best part is the garden and its inhabitants - the tree that gives these lovely juicy fruits, Theodora the tortoise and Rudi the rabbit. He is the plumpest fluffiest cutest bunny in all the world and while the stay would have been magical without him, he completed it.

The B&B has a garden, which adds to the tranquility and ambience. There’s a cute rabbit living there too! We found it very quiet there at night (no easy feat in Italy) and the surrounding area is certainly peaceful but the interior will depend on the other guests. The breakfast is very good (there is no hot food but that’s fine for us) and the owner is so exceptionally hospitable and welcoming; nothing is too much trouble. We found that the tea & coffee facilities were not in the rooms, just available in the communal area, which induced panic because, as coffee addicts, we need our fix upon waking, so the owner provided a kettle and cups etc. just for us!

    Nothing!

The location is important for us as we use public transport -- train in this case -- and this is excellently placed. The manager/owner is very kind and brought us a kettle and milk. Bathroom facilities were good. Breakfast was good too. The manager is very friendly and humourous and likes to engage his guests.

Our Bedroom was just off reception and while a good size with a nice terrace, it meant that we heard people coming and going and conversations with the hotel manager. There was one hard dining style chair in the room and we would have appreciated something more comfortable, and two of them -- otherwise you have to sit on the bed. I think the room could do with a bit of an update.

Excellent location, comfortable (large double) room. Good breakfast, friendly, helpful manager. Great value!

Not usual to have a kettle and drink making facilities on the continent, but it would be nice!
