A little problem would be with the noise from the outside, as the location has a view to the street. Something out of the owner's duties, but it is worth mentioning if you have problems with the sleep.

One of the best accommodations I've ever had. The host is very kind and helpful, helped us reach from the bus station to the location, and gave us tips about Matera: where to eat, what to visit, from where you can have the best view at sunset. Another highlight is the breakfast: locally sourced products, figs from the tree in front of the house, and best of all, the garden where you can enjoy it.

Noise from the pizzeria nearby on the Saturday night, but Sunday was much better (I know this does not have anything with a host). Price could also be a slightly lower.

The communication with host was easy and he recommended us where to park our car and how to reach the location. The location of apartment is excellent. The room is spacious and we got some free drinks. Breakfast was good.

Location of the place a bit problematic to get to - Goggle Maps does not give best directions. If you have a car and/or a suitcase better find a place to park away from the historic centre and get a taxi in the direction of the nearest hotel to the appartment - it is very difficult to walk with a suitcase

Wonderful stay in the heart of Matera We had an amazing one-night stay right in the center of Matera. The host was incredibly kind — he even picked us up from the parking lot on his way to work, just to help us with our bags. We received lots of helpful tips and fantastic recommendations for dinner and an evening walk. It was a perfect place for a short family stay. Breakfast was delicious — I almost felt guilty going back for another croissant! 😊 Highly recommended!

We were very eager to visit the beautiful city of Matera during our moto journey through Italy, and I have to say, we enjoyed every moment of our stay. A big part of that was thanks to our wonderful host, Federica. She made sure to show us where we could park our motorcycle, introduced us to the accommodation, which was tidy, clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable, and took the time to explain what we should see, marking all the focal points on the map. Thanks to her guidance, we were able to enjoy the sunset, visit all the main sights in a short amount of time, and then simply get lost in the streets of Matera, letting ourselves fully soak in the experience. Great location, very nice room with comfortable bed, ample space and well decorated. Lovely breakfast which can be consumed outside in the shadows even on sunny and hot days. The love, attention to the guests and their experience that the owners put into this structure can be felt even before arriving, with detailed tips on where to park and how to best reach the location. They also gave us great tips: from what to see, to where to go for an aperitivo with a view or dinner. That was definitely a plus and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to have a great stay in Matera. Thank you!

Our stay in Matera was amazing. The unit is in the perfect location to explore and enjoy the fascinating old town. The AC worked great, on a brutally hot day. The room is meticulously clean and well equipped. Breakfast was classic Italian offerings. The owners were incredibly kind and generous, and even helped us back to our parking spot in town. So nice! Did I mention there was a Ferrari car show happening within 100 feet of our room? Yes, it happened. Stays like this one make vacations memorable for a lifetime. Thanks so much to the owners.

Parking throughout Matera is a hassle but I used the garage at via Lucana which is a 15 min walk, no big deal.

Best place I've stayed in 15 years of visiting Matera. Wonderful couple who speak perfect English are a dream to deal with, very responsive and accommodating. Great location, clean comfortable room, lovely breakfast. Will always stay here in future visits.

First of all we fell in love with Matera. Secondly Federica was amazing and made our stay unforgettable! She helped us with everything! From giving us directions to the hotel, give as a map for the city and help us find our lost bag! The room was located in the center of Matera. We weee in room 6 which unfortunately was above a 24 hour vending area and 2 out of 3 nights we were kept awake from teenagers drinking and shouting

The location was perfect. It was right next to Piazza san Pietra Caveaso. The hosts were really nice and made it easy to find parking and locate the accommodation. It was in the heart of Matera old town which can be complicated.to navigate.
