It is a historical property and it's easy to be disturbed by the uncouncious other travellers, who speak loudly in the other rooms.

Kitchen was very well equipped and the dining area was big enough.

The room was very tiny with insufficient number of sockets compared with guest number. Also the heating was too much, we had to sleep with partially open window.

The structure is in the center of Vik, very close to restaurants and other. Additionally, it has dedicated parking. Exceptionally clean for an hostel standard.

Hostel is in good location, stuff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast served in Vik inn was delicious.

The room is smaller than a prison cell. The building itself is very old, and you can hear anyone roaming through it.

I read about this old house and yes, it´s an old house. I love it´s charme and although I heard everyone going to the toilet at night it was ok for me. You have savety and booking is really quick. You get a code and you´ll come whenever you arrive. I think my room in the first upper ground was the smallest room in the house but I could load all my equipement. My bed stood in front of the window although I realized in the morning how gorgious this place was. Downstairs Showers were hot and comfortable. Breakfast is only a few steps away and you get geothermal baked bread.

The room for 4 people was very small. Unfortunately the noise is a problem. You can hear everything from the corridors, and we were very unlucky to stay the same night as a big group who made really a lot of noise.

The place itself is very nice and cosy, big kitchen, with all basic stuff to cook. Living room is large and very cosy. Breakfast was also good.

Small narrow stairway. Difficult for people with big cases to move upstairs. The lock for the second floor toilet was hard to use, my family hurt his hand:(

The radiator in our room did not work at all. We have been told to use an electric one but it was really tiny, so the room stayed cold. We had wet clothes so we could not dry them properly (the common radiators were used by other people) and in the morning we found a lot of water close to the window, due to condensation most likely. It's a pity, but I don't think it's normal to stay in a room without heating during winter season in Iceland

The room had only one heater and at night it was a bit cold in the room but lucky me , i found an electric heater in the room next to mine and than all was good

Super expensive, small room, uneven floor, narrow and steep very uncomfortable stairway, room to hot, low toilet/ shower to people ratio. By far the lowest value accomodation in our 9 day trip to Iceland.
