Stove wouldn't turn on so the one night we wanted to cook we couldn't, and the microwave wasn't really an alternative.

Roomy studio apartment with kitchen conveniences. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom with heated towel rails. We enjoyed our couple of days here exploring the westfjords, thanks Sunna for being a great host.

Sunna, the host was lovely. The bathroom was wonderful, beds cumfortable and the place was clean. I would recommend a stay here.

I understand why the bed for a couple was actually two twins put together, but it didn’t make it any more comfortable. I’m also a big tea drinker and didn’t like the plastic electric kettle.

Very comfortable and excellent location. The kitchen is well equipped for simple meals. So nice to self cater!

Nothing signficant. A washing machine would have been helpful but we just washed some items by hand then used the heated towel rail in the bathroom which worked well.

If wanting to stay on the Drangsnes peninsular this is a great option. Had all the basics for cooking and sleeping in a good space. Downstairs so easy access for moving bags etc. Nice idea to include bathrobes to use at the hotpots, and the entrance hall has helpful information like a map, shop information, and prices for the hot tubs (we actually used the natural one further round the coastline, but the village ones look very handy). Shower was good and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel provided along with good towels. It was nice that Sunna met us when we arrived :) Nice to have a walk around the village and there is a jumping pillow just behind the guesthouse which gives great views. Orange lighthouses in Drangsnes and on Grimsey look beautiful in the setting sun. It was a treat to spot whales from the main window in the fjord one morning (whilst admiring the beautiful view of Grimsey from the window).....we moved the table to the centre of the room so we could enjoy the view whilst eating etc.

simple but completely clean studio apartment with plenty of space for two people. It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.

Take as much food supplies as you can. The local shop is limited.

We stayed for a week. The room was comfortable with everything we needed. Good location. Went on a Laki boat trip in the local fjord and saw whales. Even saw the northern lights from our room.

I liked the fact that Drangsnes is a bit off the beaten track. For people who expect a bit of nightlife or convenience infrastructure it could be too quiet.

Beautiful little apartment on the 1st floor of the building with a view on the bay. Perfectly clean and really quiet at night. Plus only 5 minutes walk to one of the best restaurants in Iceland.

Nothing, the property was good

Really pleasant guesthouse. We had a large room with a kitchenette, it had a hob with 2 electric rings, a fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave (we didn't use it) and a coffee maker (again didn't use it as we used our own coffee bags). The beds were very comfortable and the shower was good. Shower gel and shampoo was provided, as were robes to be used if we wanted to go to the local hot pool (which we did). The lady running the guesthouse was very friendly on the one occasion we saw her and made sure everything was to our liking. Wifi connection very strong. Restaurant Malarhorn is within walking distance and serves superb food. We strongly recommend the whale watching with Laki Tours in Holmavik which is about 20 mins drive away.
