Room was very small. Because of all the roads being blocked, due to culture festival, we had to park a long way away and haul our luggage to the hotel. That is not the hotel fault but they should have informed us about the festival and that we would have difficulty getting there.

Hotel entrance tricky to find. Stairs at the entrance that must be negotiated with luggage. There can be noise from music in restaurants and the street.

Breakfast was Continental, a little light by American standards. Staff was phenomenal. The entrance to the hotel is hard to find and there are steps to negotiate with luggage. Location is fabulous.

The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was quite varied. The hotel is in an excellent location, very central, although some of the neighbouring venues were quite loud. On the whole it's good value for money.

The rooms that face the street can be noisy at night and not all the staff were knowledgeable and able to speak English well.

With the central location came street noise from people enjoying themselves. The sky was bright all night long due to the time of the year so folks were partying until the wee hours of the morning, not fighting just chatting & laughing. The band in the pub across the street stopped at 11 pm.

The location was excellent for us as we weren’t going on tours this visit and we could walk to interesting sites & delicious restaurants.

The hotel is in a very pleasant area of Reykjavik in the pedestrianised street of Laugavegur. The street has many shops, restaurants and bars. The room and facilities were good and clean but our double room was on the small side. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

For people traveling with stroller or wheelchair, there are multiple stairs to walk up on. There are a couple of bars nearby blasting music up to about 11pm-1130p.

Staff was very friendly. Location was very good for walking distance to a lot of things. Breakfast was not special but not bad. Rooms are exactly as depicted on website.

We had no way to buy wine so we did by some from this hotel. We had to get a taxi to bus so they set this up for us and serve us some breakfast early.

Only two things to improve, please have power outlets by the bed. It was difficult for me to reach my phone while resting or when waking up. At least one usb charger would be more than helpful. Second, and minor, and perhaps difficult to change, the ledge above the sink is kind of wide, when I bent over to brush my teeth or wash my face, I kept hitting my head with the ledge. Other than those, I enjoyed my time in this place.

Excellent location, the staff was more than friendly from day 1 of my booking (a month ahead my actual stay), the room space was great for one person, the street view was awesome. The breakfast was diverse and suitable to all the tastes. Hotel was walking distance from all attractions, bars, the ocean view, restaurants and transportation hubs.
