Some of the guests were loud in the evening and at night. Hard to get a good sleep, bathroom and toilet are shared with other guests, it could be inconvenient.

What a great hostel, its a bit on the edge of Reykjavík, but that was fine for us, we wanted somewhere near to the municipal pools (which were next door) and not too far from places to eat and with good connections to the coach terminal so we could get home. I was amazed at how quiet it was at night, we weren't disturbed at all, which I was not expecting considering it was a hostel with predominantly guests in their 20s (although there were a sprinkling of olde visitors). Its really clean, with a nice friendly buzz, brilliant, helpful staff. I couldn't recommend it more highly, a great place for anyone staying in Iceland on a budget.

Very busy hostel especially with the adjacent campsite. Facilities heavily used. Limited food options Some concerns about security as easy to access for non residents. Lockers not big enough for my holdall and I worried about leaving it in short term left luggage room. Slept in top bunk. Very high and wobbly

I didn’t like having to share a room but that’s why the price was way cheaper than normal so it was just a trade off. I was lucky to get a sociable group from Peru, Sudan and France.

The property was ideally located along the main road. It was therefore easy to get public transport. The fly2bus were always willing to drop you off at the hotel due to its close proximity to their terminus. Everything was organised and the bathrooms were always clean. Staff were also always willing to assist. Finally, the price was good value for money.

It was a bustling place with people of all ages. I had an all female dorm, and I felt very safe and comfortable. They have storage if you arrive before check in. Bathrooms clean and nice,private showers.

It is conveniently close to Laugardalslaug. Common spaces are great, comfy beds and functional rooms. It is also a great opportunity to meet other travelers.

Rooms are very simple yet cosy and warm (rooms need warming even in summer). Very efficient. Easy to check in. Very clean, recycling, and responsible facility. The kitchen is well-equipped. A nice breakfast is served (paid additionally).

Comfortable. 5 minute walk to local swimming pool. However, it quite far from the city center. Around 40 minutes walk. But there is scooter in front of the hostel that you can rent.

Only thing about this hostel I didn't love was the lack of privacy curtains on the beds. However, if you have quite people in your room it's fine.

This property is great! The location is perfect even though it's about a 20-30 minute walk into the city centre. Everything felt nice and clean and super friendly staff.

Not many planned activities for anyone staying here. Didn’t try to make visitors feel like they could have fun together. No restaurants close. More residential area except for big park(zoo,etc)next to it. Not clean. Room ok but kitchen was worst set up of any hostel I have stayed at in the last couple of years(maybe 10) and was NOT clean. Need to deep clean the whole building! Too far from city center where activities were.

If u were a camper this place had a huge area for all types. Good for a family. Close to big city pool, zoo, botanical garden, sports . grocery stores about 15 or so minutes away. Would like closer. Buses to areas maybe 3 minutes to 15 away depending on where u wanted to go. Beds had enough room to sit up without hitting my head.
