Kitchen and breakfast cool

We booked a Tipie and couldnt sleep inside it was full of spiders like everywhere into the bed, under the sheets, on the canvas, on the floor, on the pillows. The entry of the tipie was totally wet, We finally ending by sleeping in our car, as no one from the establishment was around when we arrived at 11pm to offer a solution. No answer even days after my messages about this, so a bit disappointed.

It was simple and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

Great place close to golden circle. Exactly how it’s described. The standout thing for me was then breakfast which they had from 7-10am. The washroom was shared but we had no problem accessing it.

It was quite clean but could have used minor cleaning every day in the lobby.

Lovely hotel. Easy check, even if you arrive after reception closes. Prime location just off the speedway.

Really spacious room and good location & view. Shared toilet was alright and did the job. We did love the breakfast, very rich and perfect to kickstart a day of sightseeing.

The shared kitchen looked and felt a bit “sad” overall (the worst we experienced in Iceland). Also, the property did not communicate with us timely and we were not shared any information on how to self check-in. Upon asking other guests, we managed to get in touch with the property and someone showed up to finally let us in our room. As avid travelers, we kept our cool and managed to solve the issue relatively quickly, but it might have caused much more distress in a less expert traveler. Very bad job this time around.

Self check in details are clear. Small but neat room, breakfast is exceptional. Each bed has charging point.

We were three persons but they provided only one towel for three. There was nobody in the reception to ask for our needs. Tolilets and showers were not so neat.

Breakfast was buffet style, was excellent, and was served in a location different from the common kitchen. The facility was clean and well ventilated. The rooms were large. There were mirrors, a desk, two single beds, a chair, and a very comfortable armchair

There were no laundry facilities.

I enjoyed hearing the different langauges being spoken around the guesthouse.

This hostel was not great. The room was very grim, and there were way too many religious items around the entire guesthouse. The beds were not clean, and I was itching most of the night (convinced there were bed bugs - though that was not the case!). The staff was not very friendly. And the breakfast left a lot to be desired. For the amount of money paid, it was not worth it.

Everything was clean. Room was spacious and warm, with a nice view.

The kitchen was a little too small.

No complaints quiet, comfortable, great breakfast.

I was in the tents at the back. It was lovely and cozy, bed was v comfortable and there was a heater. I had to move tents because mine was leaking but it was sorted quickly and easily once I found the staff. Breakfast was good

Only one toilet in the middle of the shower room

The room was large and well furnished. The bathroom and toilets were clean, the corridors were quiet so we had a very good rest on the way from the mountains. The breakfast was sufficient and everyone chose what they liked. Beautiful accommodation for a very reasonable price.

A very beautiful interior. Amazing surroundings between mountains and next to a lake. Much attention was paid to small details and aesthetics. Resembled to a small temple.

This yellow juice was terrible :D Everything else was amazing.

the location was fine

it did not look at all like the listing on Booking.com. it had a bad odor to it and there were a lot of flies in the kitchen. I think the shared bathroom in the pic for 20 guest rooms. found a locker room-style shower room that we absolutely did not want to use. the listing offered free toiletries and the staff had no idea what we were talking about. they said that there was hand soap and toilet paper in the restrooms.

The bed was relatively comfortable and the breakfast was nice.

The bathroom. First of all, it was not so easy to find as there was no clear marking. More importantly, it was filthy. There were spider webs, the toilet was flooded and overall it was quite a scary experience.
