This was a problem at every place we stayed, but the "blackout curtains" don't really blackout the artic summer light, so it can be a bit hard to sleep- but this was not isolated to this stay. Just bring an eye mask.

This was hands-down the nicest place we stayed in Iceland. It was expensive, but every place we stayed was overpriced- at least this place was really nice for the money we spent. We stayed in 12 different hotels (we drove the ring road), and my husband and I both said it felt like a little home. It was very clean, had lots of amenities (including a little dishwasher, which was really nice to wash our water bottles!). There is not cook top in the space, but they did have a microwave, dishes, a fridge, and like I mentioned a dishwasher. The bed was comfortable, the room felt really clean, and the view was really beautiful.

This was one of favorite places that we stayed in Iceland. It was tiny but comfortable, with everything we needed--water boiler, microwave,frig, even a little dishwasher, and blankets for covering our laps when we sat outside. The terrace was so nice--overlooking the mountains and the sea across a marshy meadow. The combination of the beautiful view and the cozy comfort was perfect.

The cottage is located on a sheep farm. The sheep and their little lambs were so close that they even sometimes ventured on the porch! The bed was comfortable and the scenery was spectacular. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided a beautiful view, and were also fitted with blackout curtains.

The TV was a bit complicated to get going but that may have been our own fumbling around.

Cosy, warm, excellent views, heavenly beds and pillows, car parked right next to the house and very private. We saw the northern lights one night!

Self check-in and check-out process was easy and there was parking space available for each cabin, so, no problem moving heavy luggage. The cabin had minimalist design, comfortable bed, kettle, microwave and basic kitchen utensil. It was spacious, well heated and located on a quiet location 10 minutes away from Húsavík.

Great little cabins outside of Husavik, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Lovely views of mountains and cows in the adjoining field. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Laxhus! It's located on a farm with beautiful views a short drive from Husavik. We originally were planning to stay closer to Lake Myvatn but I'm so glad we ended up here instead. It was less expensive with much more beautiful surroundings and close to town.

Seriously nothing it was refreshing.

The privacy. A small studio cottage with no one running down the halls at night. The location was beautiful we sat on the porch watching cows and horses in the pasture as the sun set. There’s no stove , there’s a coffee maker, toaster, and fridge so come prepared.
