Big room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Could use the kitchen and the fridge to make breakfast.

There was some hair in the shower from the previous guests.

Spacious room. Clean and nice. Loved that they had Nespresso machine. Easy to find and get into room. We didn’t have any contact with staff. We didn’t need to.

The room was huge: the biggest we saw in Iceland. The bed was really comfy and we appreciated having also a sofa and a private bathroom for us. In the room we also found mugs, glasses, coffee and tea! It was great to depart from the whale boat tour directly from the hotel.

The view from the window was blocked by another building, which is a pity being so close to the sea. The bathroom was not super clean considering the average of the island (hair in the shower) and we didn't have a bathroom mat. A small fridge in the room would be nice.

This was our favorite overnight in our 3 week tour of Iceland. Plush carpeted room with comfy bed and clean, modern bathroom. Felt decadent and the staff were so friendly too. 1 minute walk to the beer baths, location couldn’t have been better! And what an adorable little town!!!

    No kitchen

The village is tiny and dominated by a small brewery and a beer spa with bistro. This unmanned hotel has large rooms with comfortable beds, and quite a lot of space for dining, which is not used. That said, the spa and breweries are musts, and if the bistro is not open the Eyra restaurant, two villages towards Akureyri, is exceptional.

I like to see staff in a hotel and there were none. Also, no breakfast option.

The room was beautiful and the location is fantastic.

When i checked in there was no one there, they did send me a message about how to get into reception. However they didn't tell me where the rooms were and there were no signs at all on the direction of the rooms. There also wasn't any breakfast in the morning, although there was a note in the room giving the times of breakfast. Not major things, just little niggles.
