Room flooded when we turned on the shower and had to be moved. Shower drain smelled in both rooms.

We really enjoyed our short stay here. We only stayed for one night as a stopover, but everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was clean, and we especially appreciated having a coffee machine in the room in the morning. We also loved the chance to relax in the thermal bath.

The meals - dinner and breakfast were very delicious!!!! we had the tenderloin 3 course meal and it was very good.The staff were excellent and the hot springs lovely. The farm around the property was nice with ducks and calfs to watch while we ate.

I had a tough time with the mattress, but most beds are uncomfortable for me, as I am a side sleeper. My husband, who sleeps on his back, found the bed comfy.

Comfortable. All you have to do is relaxing in hot tub after hiking... Perfect. And they're so kind and smiling !

A bit too expensive, especially food (like changing to euros, it's not that affordable)

Very friendly check-in staff, loved privacy of our cabin and full kitchen (3 bedroom cabin), great setting. Cottage decor was nice!

Used washcloth on towel rack in bathroom when we arrived, oven wasn’t clean (I didn’t want to get charged for the unclean oven, so left a note for cleaning staff before we left, and it was not a problem). Otherwise the cottage was clean and comfortable and we would definitely stay there again!

A sweet collection of cottages and main building in the countryside. We were in #13, a family studio - a twin over double bunk, another twin, small kitchenette, couch, and table with 4 chairs. Perfect for two friends to have some room, but might be tight for more people. The hot pot (soon to be a spa apparently) is beautiful and nicely hot, even on our cool blustery day. There was a note that we could use it for free because they’re still under construction, so no clue what access to it will cost guests once they’re finished. The on site restaurant was good (meat centric, FYI, but with a vegan and seafood option.) The staff were very friendly. Great location for jumping off to Snaefellsnes or the Westfjords.

I’d be bummed if I booked the cottage to find out the hot pot was going to cost more, so definitely check the status when you book. One of our chairs in the cottage was dangerously broken, literally holding together with one screw. Fortunately we found out by picking it up to move it instead of sitting.

This was our favorite stay in Iceland. We loved our view and the close proximity to the volcano/crater. We also enjoyed the newly remodeled hot spring pool and the fire in the evening which we had both all to ourselves. A wonderful quiet stay.

The bathroom had a musty smell and the water from the shower went all over the bathroom floor… but otherwise clean.

Clean, simple, all good

It’s extremely touristy, geared towards Americans. A bit fake vibe. Also it is direct on the highway, so nowhere to run in the morning. So although it’s clean and price is good, but gave authenticity, not real.

Nice country hotel with good restaurant and a nice hot pot. Slippers and bathrobes in the room.

stairs to two of our room were up very steep stairs. Rooms were not dusted.

The room was clean. Coffee machine in room was nice. Restaurant meal was exquisite.

The restaurant meal was superb but know it will be expensive.

Good shower and parking

Isolated and one of the staff was unfriendly, don't think he liked bikers or brits, not sure which.
