We really enjoyed our short stay here. We only stayed for one night as a stopover, but everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was clean, and we especially appreciated having a coffee machine in the room in the morning. We also loved the chance to relax in the thermal bath.

I had a tough time with the mattress, but most beds are uncomfortable for me, as I am a side sleeper. My husband, who sleeps on his back, found the bed comfy.

The meals - dinner and breakfast were very delicious!!!! we had the tenderloin 3 course meal and it was very good.The staff were excellent and the hot springs lovely. The farm around the property was nice with ducks and calfs to watch while we ate.

Used washcloth on towel rack in bathroom when we arrived, oven wasn’t clean (I didn’t want to get charged for the unclean oven, so left a note for cleaning staff before we left, and it was not a problem). Otherwise the cottage was clean and comfortable and we would definitely stay there again!

Very friendly check-in staff, loved privacy of our cabin and full kitchen (3 bedroom cabin), great setting. Cottage decor was nice!

I’d be bummed if I booked the cottage to find out the hot pot was going to cost more, so definitely check the status when you book. One of our chairs in the cottage was dangerously broken, literally holding together with one screw. Fortunately we found out by picking it up to move it instead of sitting.

A sweet collection of cottages and main building in the countryside. We were in #13, a family studio - a twin over double bunk, another twin, small kitchenette, couch, and table with 4 chairs. Perfect for two friends to have some room, but might be tight for more people. The hot pot (soon to be a spa apparently) is beautiful and nicely hot, even on our cool blustery day. There was a note that we could use it for free because they’re still under construction, so no clue what access to it will cost guests once they’re finished. The on site restaurant was good (meat centric, FYI, but with a vegan and seafood option.) The staff were very friendly. Great location for jumping off to Snaefellsnes or the Westfjords.

The bathroom had a musty smell and the water from the shower went all over the bathroom floor… but otherwise clean.

This was our favorite stay in Iceland. We loved our view and the close proximity to the volcano/crater. We also enjoyed the newly remodeled hot spring pool and the fire in the evening which we had both all to ourselves. A wonderful quiet stay.

We had stayed in a cabin and it was a little small for us. We stayed in summer and it would have been nice to have room darkening shades.

The outdoor hot tub was very nice, great way to relax after a busy day. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious.

The owners are doing a lot of work, so it was under construction during our stay. Once complete it is going to be so nice, we are just sad we won’t get to see it all finished!

We loved staying on the farm! The animals are so fun and the food in the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was delicious! The staff are great - very friendly and accommodating. Great place for a night or two while you’re in the area.

this hotel was a highlight of our trip, the setting is very sweet, the rooms rustic but also charming (we were in a stand alone cottage), the hot tub was hot and enjoyable and the restaurant fantastic. Plus all the farm animals wandering around. We just loved our stay here.

Twin room was a little tight. I ended up adding a nearby double room as my companion was coming down with a cold - staff was great about that, but I noticed the double was more spacious.

Accommodating staff, nice breakfast assortment, interesting property. The hot pool was rather under construction, with pipes and pipes of dirt around, but it was open and hot and a soak after a day of travel and a bit of stress was nice!

Very nice people, the restaurant run by the family was a farm to table and it was fantastic food! The room was well furnished with a sitting area, mini fridge and double black out curtains! The only place we stayed that had double and it was appreciated!!!
