Bathroom by the front entrance door was flooded. It would be a good idea to have a small stool/chair in the shower cubicles to make drying feet easier.

The rooms were tiny and it was hard to manage two suitcases and two people and open the door to the room.

The kitchen was large, very clean and well stocked. It was nice having such a great kitchen for cooking. Thank you!

Perfect location for last night in REK in between city and airport. We were with family of 4, great deal. Shared bathroom but all very clean. Kitchen to prepare meals. Allowed to enter the room earlier per telephone.

I had a wonderful time at this hostel in Iceland! The atmosphere was extremely cozy and welcoming, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always willing to offer tips for excursions and sightseeing. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was ideal. Overall, a great place to experience the real Icelandic feeling. I highly recommend this hostel!

It's tricky to transit to, but fine if you have a car rental. No issues with street parking. I wish the hostel could be more careful with the guests they allow to book--they should only book for travelers, not locals without housing, but I suppose it's somewhat out of their control.

The staff were very accommodating when I had an uncomfortable guest in my room, switched my room immediately without fuss. Very clean and quiet hostel. Good well stocked kitchen. Very clean rooms with plenty of space. Clean bathrooms.

Small little town just outside Reykjavik. It is only a 10 min drive into the main city so you are close enough to go there with a car anyway. Slightly closer to the airport is also an advantage if you are concerned about flight times. The room was great and facilities all comfortable. There is also the football stadium (FH) just around the corner - we went to a game there and would recommend if the fixture aligns with your plans.

I had a great stay at this hostel! I got the code for the entrance door and room, along with the check-in information on the day of my reservation, which was helpful since I arrived late. The staff were kind and made sure I had everything I needed when I got there. Getting to the hostel was easy, and there was plenty of parking spaces. The room was clean, and it was nice that linens and towel were included. The bathrooms were also very clean, which made the stay even more comfortable. I also really liked the design of the hostel, it had a cozy and homey feel that made my stay enjoyable! I'd love to stay here again after finishing my exploration of Iceland and would definitely recommend it to others!

PRICE: Value for money. Place seemed new. LOCATION: Easy to find. Public transport available nearby. Lovely town with restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores clos by. Relaxing walk by the port couple of mins away. About 10mins drive from Reykjavik. CLEANLINESS: Immaculate cleaning. Bedsheets and towels are fresh. Rooms and toilets are very clean SAFETY: I was travelled solo and I find the place very safe . Yet easy access for check in and check out with codes/guidelines provided prior to check in. WIFI- very good connection

I love how clean the bathrooms are and easy access throughout the building. The room was perfect for me: cozy bed, the linens were pretty clean and neat, and I was able to adjust the heater! But something I really loved was: it had where to hang a few items inside the room 😍 I'll go around the Island and I already booked for the last 3 days I will be here!! Fully recommended!!

There is actually nothing to complain about I felt very confortable

It is a newly opened Hostel. I can even smell the freshness in the room! Totally new! I was amazed for the cleanliness and home-like feeling. And it is located in the heart of a beautiful town, Hafnarfjordur. Walking distance to almost everything i think about. ( i will not be hungry.😀) Bus stop is just 4 minutes walk and i was able to go partying in Reykjavik city in just 1 hop in the bus. Hassle-free. It was a very comfortable stay. And the host was open to the small suggestion i made as a guest. So it was nice. I was even offered a coffee and donuts on the rainy day. Well, i just say: i felt home, and will come back again on the summer time and stay in the same Hostel.

It was poorly kept. We don’t know if we were unlucky given the other reviews. But the toilet was never cleaned, the toilet paper was finished and never replenished and the trash bin was overflowing of paper, but never empied. We never saw a person taking care of the cleaning.

The hostel is a recently renovated building. Close to the airport and Reykjavík.

I stayed in a private single room. The hotel is a no frills bed for the night accommodation. The hotel recently opened so all the furniture is brand new. The rooms are small but everything was clean. It is located in Hafnarfjordur,so you are outside the main tourist area and away from the nightlife. There is a bus stop close by where you catch a regular direct bus into the centre of Reykjavik which takes about 20 minutes.There are a few restaurants and take-away places for lunch and dinner nearby but it is not easy to get an early breakfast.
