We didn’t know they had breakfast! We read in a tour book they don’t offer it and they did but we had made other arrangements. Sad to miss! The shower situation was a bit tough with a curtain and the quiet hours were great except some kids were running around scream-playing after hours (not a big deal but we were personally told to be quiet after 10pm and the kids were running around at 11pm).

excellent share kitchen with ovens, hob & microwave. quiet comfy rooms. great views in a rural setting, 2 share upstairs bathrooms for 5 rooms (4 upstairs, one downstairs), a little small but plenty hot water. Downstairs communal lounge and dining areas to relax. Friendly owners. Very clean .

Cleanliness (cleanest we have ever stayed), decor, friendly, helpful staff and the views. The Icelandic horse herding evening and next morning was a real bonus.

Old key in the bedroom doors were a bit noisy as we all tried to figure out how they worked so an early riser might wake you up as they left their room.

Self check in process very easy. Everything was clean and comfortable. Briefly met the owner in the morning when we left. She was very friendly.

This guesthouse is located on a hill with a great view over the bay and river bed area. Chance of stunning sunsets when the weather allows it! Very comfy rooms with character and cosy kitchen and common spaces. The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful - happy to assist with anything. You can also book riding tours with their super cuddly Icelandic horses, which are located right next to the house. Also adding up to the already stunning view ;) Arriving late was no issue and the self check-in was uncomplicated :) I’d come again any time!

This is a wonderful guest house with amazing views. Positives- Super clean with average sized rooms. Quiet with great blackout curtains, kitchen, dinning area and sitting room were well equipped, clean and open to everyone for use. Elise was absolutely fantastic….such a kind and helpful person! Not negatives but just a couple not optimal things- The staircase upstairs is a tad narrow and steep, the bathrooms are a bit tight and the dirt and bumpy road leading to the guesthouse was longer than we hoped…….but alas….. they work great with what they have…….we would def come back!
