Self check in, easy communication with host, very modern hotel room with a balcony, view from balcony to the city and sea - very pretty, it is quiet in the room and also in the hotel area, possesses a whirlpool if needed, has a fridge, free coffee and a couch, dining table as well as a small desk, curtains which makes the room dark during sleep, the room has a safe, only 10 min drive by car to the next supermarket - I would come back if needed :)

The bathroom smelled musty. The pillows on the bed were awful, they were completely flat, there were however other pillows provided but we didn’t notice them until we were packing up to leave.

It was clean and modern. The self check in was nice. The bed was comfortable.

The only issue we encountered was with the shower drain — it didn’t work very well, so water would spill over and start to flow into the bedroom area. Other than that, everything was great and we enjoyed our time there.

The place was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We would not call this a hotel because there were no staff present on site. Nor was it an apartment because there were no cooking facilities

Cleanliness could be improved as the floor was a little dirty. There was not a single member of staff in the entire accommodation.

Spacious room with enough chairs, sofa, desk, wardrobe, and small coffee/tea station. Spacious bathroom. Good access to the room from the parking lot. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good TV.

shower drain was very slow almost causing flood in bathroom, had to pause shower to allow water to drain, able to let cleaning crew know in the morning. Self check-in is not ideal if any issues.

Nice large room with a great view. It was at the ski resort and self serve but really not that far out of Akureyri. We got e mail with codes just fine for check in. Able to use microwave & kettle in kitchen area, had a small fridge and a safe in room. Got in too late to use hot tub.

Location is a bit outside the city but no issue for self drive people. 10 mins drive to Akureyri city center and whale watching port.

True to the photo and very modern deco. Digitally check-in was very convenient and saving time.

There was no trace of staff … Everything was digital BUT THE ROOM had BOILING temperature and uncontrolled!!!!

Breakfast is good but need to be ordered separately. There is no restaurant but the city offers a plenty of possibilities to eat and enjoy.

The hotel is cosy with a full automatic checkin and checkout. The view is breathtaking. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

It was really hot in the room and no windows to open and there is no aircondition.

Nice location, especially in the wintertime if you are skiing. It is about 7 minutes drive downtown.

The kitchen could have some more utensils and a cooker to use since there is no breakfast option in the hotel.

The hotel had a self-check-in process, so no staff was involved during the check-in. The hotel maintained proper cleanliness and other facilities. The room had a very nice view from the balcony.

Booked last minute due to plan change. I never stayed at a self service hotel and I have to say it was really quite nice. Room was nice. Bed was comfortable. Shower was nice. Facilities were clean.

No control in the room temperature. We had the door open to the outside patio for as long as we could until bedtime.

Close to downtown, just enough removed to have more space, liked the hot tubs. The security code access to the building and room was an interesting measure we had not had before. It was easy to enter. The bed was comfortable! There was a EV charge hookup that we could have used if our car came with a cable.
