Great location, very handy for the activities we had planned around Vik. Comfy large room. Being from the UK I appreciated the kettle in the room. Beds were soft but very comfy as I normally prefer a firmer bed. Breakfast was good, plenty of items to select from. Good communication of check-in details

It would have been nice to have had a plain yogurt offered at breakfast, in addition to the sour and sweetened yogurts.

Our room was very clean and comfortable and the included breakfast was a lovely buffet. This was a very convenient accommodation along the Ring Road.

The bathroom was a bit small, so it could be an issue for people with long legs 😅

My room exceeded my expectations. The bed was super comfy, and there is no noise at all due to its superb location. It might seem isolated, but it is easy to reach via car. One can experience so much peace!

Check-in was a bit odd, I had read that the staff office was separate from the hotel where guests stayed, but I had forgotten and ended up walking straight into the hotel without a clue to go anywhere. A more obvious sign to check-in to the office first would be appreciated! In terms of the room, I felt quite safe staying in Iceland in general, but we were a little unsure about our room being unlocked after it had been cleaned.

The hotel was located deep into the land, so it provided us with enough calm and quiet from the main roads of Iceland. The room itself was easily accessible, and it was quiet spacious for two people. I appreciated the desk with a few options for tea, plus with a readily available vending machine at the front of the hotel since we were caught in a wind storm during our first day. The bathroom also was pretty spacious too, provided with enough amenities as well. Breakfast was one of our favorites during our stay here, they provided a great variety that Iceland had to offer (with the fun shot of Lysi to start our day).

Everything was good so I don't have any complaints.

Hotel was very nice. Our room was very comfortable & the pressure in the shower was amazing. Location is great, close to town. Back drop of the hotel is beautiful. Breakfast was very good & was included in our nightly rate of $309.46 US in May 2025.

When the wind gets gusty, it can be hard to sleep. I'm a very light sleeper. Please take this negative comment with a grain of salt.

There is nothing I didn’t like. If there was a jacuzzi, dinner and bar would have stayed here the entire week.

I would suggest to offer the fruits as a whole and not in pieces for waste management and for people to take away as a snack

It can be noisy but evening quiets down during the quiet hours.

This hotel is comfortable and was easy to find. Very close to Vik but away from the hustle and bustle.

Couple hiccups but not a huge issue. One of the lights didn't work and the TV didn't work but wadnt really our priorities while there anyway.

I love how it's kinda off the beaten path. Right next to a mountain. Absolutely beautiful spot. Perfect for northern light viewing if you walk out the front door and walk across the lawn. No city lights taking away from the view. Beds were comfy. We got the 2 single beds and pushed them together and it was a cozy night.
