Such a minor thing! I wished there was soap and laundry detergent available so I could scrub out a stain in my jacket. The closest restaurants and shops were about a 20-minute drive, and dinner options were limited.

Loved the breakfast - one of the best meals we had in Iceland. Nice view of trees from the dining room, where we lingered over our toast, lox, and tea. The rooms were clean, quiet, and just what we wanted. The woman who greeted us at the front desk (Birgid?) was so kind and welcoming. All our clothes were soaking wet from the rain, and she gave us a drying rack and, if that didn't work, offered to dry our clothes in the staff's dryer. I loved the location, surrounded by a sweeping view of a dramatic landscape.

Such a good location! The man working at the guesthouse was so kind. He helped us plan activities for our trip. The breakfast was simple but delicious! There were 2 nice lounge areas with coffees and tea!

I love this place so much. It feels like home. The breakfast was superb specially the smoke salmon i like so much. I would definitely stay again here when I come back to Iceland. The host were very nice and accommodating. Shower and bathroom are clean and enough to share with everyone.

Beautiful property, convenient location and lovely hosts. There is a lounge area complete with complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fridge. The breakfast was fabulous and included homemade goodies like marriage cake.

A bit remote vs lodgings on closer vicinity to Selfoss, but given weed done the ring road clockwise, being a few miles from a large ‘metropolis’ was nuffin’ compared to places we’d stayed up north. Perfectly adequate, totally accessible by car on 10 minutes.

Included breakfast, had a tv room/lounge with couches, games, puzzles. Nice place to relax at the end of the day.

Didn't realize how far out of Selfoss this location is. This meant a lot of driving in and back.

Good location on South Coast with access to Golden Circle, South Coast and Reykjavik. Basic but very comfortable rooms and bed with everything you need. Spotlessly clean shared WC and shower and excellent breakfast. Provided area with kettle, tea, coffee, chocolate, microwave, sink and fridge. Staff very helpful . Overall excellent value

As the location is about 10 km from Sellfoss you need to head out for dinner but since every body is probably renting a car to get here anyway this is a small inconvenience.

We had a great stay at the guesthouse on top of the hill. The location is great next to the cross roads of Golden Circle and the road to south coast. The facilities were in really great shape and the rooms were comfy and clean.

Not much. No stove for making warm food.

We were in Room 7 upstairs. Rooms and beds were comfortable and we slept well both nights of our stay. The continental breakfast spread was abundant; it had a very good variety of food and beverage. Surprised by the generous portions of smoked salmon, shrimp salad, granola, yogurt, breads - you name it. Kasia, our hostess, was warm and welcoming. Shared bathrooms and toilets were large, clean and any wait to use was never long. We used the kitchenette, microwave, kettle, refrigerator, cutlery, utensils to prepare simple dinners both nights - all we had to do was rinse what we used and leave it by the sink to be cleared by the staff the next day.

Nothing at all just a heads-up for future travelers: plan your dinner ahead of time. Most nearby restaurants close by 9 or 10 PM, which caught me off guard. Totally on me, not the property’s fault.

Peaceful, charming, and surrounded by open Icelandic beauty. The guesthouse was cozy, clean, and welcoming with a wonderful breakfast in the morning. There were also plenty of bathrooms and showers, and I never had to wait once. A great place to unwind after a full day of exploring.
