The bedroom was very small. There was no parking spot left within the guesthouse so we had to leave the car in the street (which was not an issue at the end)

Very convenient self-check in so we were not worried about arriving late. The kitchen was fully equipped which was also very convenient It was clean and quiet. Close from airport and blue lagoon

There are only 2 places to eat in town, and both close by 9 pm. Most residents left the town.

It was super interesting to spend a night in the ghost town of Grindavik - most houses nearby were abandoned after the eruptions of 2023-2023. Very curious place.

The host was quick to response about late (night) arrival. Easy self check in, the beds were comfortable and room was warm. Not far from the airport. We liked to stay there!

When we stayed, our room was right next to the shared bathroom and the doors slammed shut and kept us awake, but we let the owners know and they actually fixed it right after our stay so it won't be a problem going forward!

Location was great! Decor was so charming and lovely and the room was on the smaller side but worked just fine; cute little shared kitchen and coffee bar!

Nice hostel in Grindavik, with everything you need! Ik got a bigger room for free:) Helpful hosts for planning trips and food. Very safe, no earthquakes or lava flooding through town.

The coat rack is really high up! Luckily one of us was tall enough to hang out jackets as there wasn't a step that I could see to get it up there myself. Small thing, but it's the only thing to note.

The room was the best we experienced in Iceland! It was clean, open, big and felt fresh. The beds were really comfortable and we felt right at home. Loved the kitchenette and the tall table and chairs. Fantastic location near Blue Lagoon, Volcano lookouts and short drive to KEF.

Everything was perfect.

Staying here felt like stepping into the beating heart of Iceland. Grindavík has a suspended, profound atmosphere, full of emotion and raw, telluric beauty. All around, the lava shapes a powerful and surreal landscape; it feels like walking on another planet. A deeply moving experience. The location is perfect, very near to the Blue Lagoon, yet far from the usual tourist routes, surrounded by silence and the force of nature. The room was impeccable: clean, well cared for, and welcoming. Check-in was super easy and intuitive, and the hosts were incredibly kind, professional, and warm, you can feel how much heart they put into what they do. The kitchen was fully equipped (great for someone like me who enjoys cooking while traveling), and the bathroom was modern, spacious, and spotless. Staying here was an enriching experience, not only for the raw beauty of the surrounding landscape, but also for the human value of those who keep this unique corner of Iceland alive.

Because of the current situation in Grindavik, there were quit few places to get any food. But no problem, we got a good description on where vi could shop, before our arrival.

A nice and clean room, with a small kitchen. The bed was nice, and the room and bathroom was large. Easy access with good communication from the owners before and under our stay there.
