I can’t say the room was dirty but there was a lot of “dust” (when you put your cellphone down and take it after half an hour, you can see a lot of dust particles on it, and on the floor. Maybe the sheets are to blame so I suggest switching to better quality material… Also the bedding was not ironed which I prefer since ironing helps with hygiene.

The object is close to city center.

The cleaning could be improved. Ladies showers were dirty and full of mold and mildew. The drain was blocked so the water would not drain. Kitchen was very grimy and the room dusty. Make sure to bring ear plugs as it is so noisy with people in and out all hours. It is advertised that they will keep your luggage after check out but it doesn’t sound safe as they recommended use of paid lockers.

Only issue was an ear splitting alarm that went off 4 times during the night on our first night and once on our third night. Staff said they were having issues with the alarm but if didn't get sorted during our stay.

Single rooms are below the level of reception so there were extra stairs to carry a heavy bag (not really a problem though)

Good value for money, very clean room with basin. I was able to leave my bag in a locked luggage room before check-in and after check-out. Great to have access to a kitchen. Handy for the bus station; I walked there in around 10/15 minutes. I would stay here again

The ladies bathroom seemed to have a blocked pipe at one point and was a little smelly, but it got sorted by the next day.

Lovely building with gorgeous architecture inside. Easy walking distance into town and conveniently close to bus routes. Really helpful staff on the front desk. Would definitely stay here again.

modern designed and attractive Hostel near the center of Reykjavík. The room itself is cleans and nicely designed with a functional bathroom. Beds are comfortable and there is a big shared room with a great kitchen and sofa for some hours with groups. The Hostel is an 8 minutes walk away from Tjörnin and the City Center. It’s right next to the University of Iceland.

The room has 2 twin beds opposite of each other. There is enough space to put them together to create a "double bed", which would be a nicer option for couples. It would be nice to have some soap in the bathroom.

The hotel is located next to the University campus. It is around 15-20 mins away from the center of Reykjavik. We rented a car, so the free gravel parking lot next to the hotel was a big bonus. The room is quite small and not very decorated but clean and comfortable. We had access to the shared kitchen which was nice for storing our groceries in the fridge and making sandwiches for our hikes.

The rooms did not have wifi which is quite inconvenient. The shower didn't have any shampoo or shower gel but that is no real problem, but more of a good to know. Hostel is a bit of a longer walk to the center but a bus goes straight in front of the building. Some of the residents/guests were very loud in some areas even during the later hours.

The room was spacious and clean, and everything needed for a comfortable stay like towels. There were also common kitchens that looked clean and you were able to make food. The room was very quiet and had nice blackout curtains. You are also able to leave your suitcases or bags to a locked storage room after checking out.

Great location walking to city center and the BSI terminal. It’s very convinrent for traveling to and from the airport and the bus tours because you can easily walk to the bus station at BSI

A little coffee included would have been nice. And information about nearby breakfast. Only found out afterwards that there had been a canteen on site for the Friday only. Nil at weekend.

For student accommodation it was good. Nice sitting room area and well equipped kitchen. Room just what we needed and in good location.

Friendly reception, well organized, fully equipped kitchen, clean bathroom. Large, welcoming communal space. Guests were quiet and respectful of others. No pelarty crowds. Short walk to the city center and 15 mins to BSI.
