Best thing about the accommodation was the washing and drying facilities. The apartment was lovely. Comfy beds. Good bathroom and kitchen facilities. Better quality pans and towels. We had problems starting our rental car flat battery and the lady cleaning the accommodation helped by calling her husband to bring jump leads. Thank you to them for their help. The host did not have jump leads and just gave contact details for nearest garage and told us to contact car rental ( which was our first call but they did not answer)

Two flights of steep steps to carry suitcases up to apartment. Washing facilities shared on ground floor so you have to go up and down. Electrics kept going off with use of toaster. No instructions for hob. It wouldn’t work set to L which apparently is child safety lock on induction hob. I had to google instructions as host wasn’t quick enough to answer questions. We needed to cook as it was late evening when we arrived. Staying here gave us 10% discount on Moby Dick whale watch tours

It was walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Húsavik!

The place was huge and centrally located. It’s also family run and we went on their whale watching tour as well through the company they own (Friends of Moby Dick)

There was no soap for the shower.

It was warm, clean, and in a lovely location close to the harbour.

There was nothing to dislike, it was very lovely.

The apartment is in a historic schoolhouse building from the early 1900s and has a lot of character and charm. It was large, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The decorations were lovely. The kitchen, living areas, and bedrooms were huge and the host thoughtfully stocked the kitchen with everything you might need. The neighborhood is very quiet and the beds were perfect. We also appreciated the fresh flowers in the hallways and entrance hall of the building. We learned that Husavik is a "hot" area where the homes are heated with geothermal water. Accordingly, and when you are taking a shower--you can smell a strong sulfur or "rotten eggs" odor. It is safe to drink. However, and while we only smelled it in the bathroom--it was very strong. Personally, I think the host of this property should put a note of explanation in the welcoming paperwork to remind and reassure guests that this is normal and not a problem.

The floating floor creaked, and couldn't open a bedroom window for ventilation. No latch, needs replacing.

Lower floor apartment of a former school. Lots of character but with all the modern facilities. Located near the centre of Husavik. 3 spacious bedrooms perfectly suitable for 6 persons. Well-equipped kitchen and living room.

We were in the 3 bedrooms apartment. The apartment was fully equipped, it was clean and very nicely furnitured.

House was very clean and cozy. The house had enoug pots, pans crockery and cutlery for all of us. There were also some groceries at our disposal. We are able to cook our meals. The host was very helpful and friendly.

I would like to suggest some changes in bathroom, especially in shower area.

The location was great. The room was quiet, spacious, and clean. Everything we needed was provided.

The space, comfort and decor were great. It was centrally located in the town with easy access to the harbour and conveniences.

There was no microwave and we couldn’t get the cooktop to work.

Need to carry heavy luggage to go up 3 floors.

The house exceeded expectations — it has multiple bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Overall, it’s really great.

Perferct location. Excellent facilities. Beautiful apartments. First choice for Húsavík!

11/10. The 3rd floor apartment looked like a doll house! Very clean, equipped with everything you may need to cook there. Just keep in mind that there is no elevator.
