I stayed here by the end of August and room temperature was super hot.

This hotel is totally worth it. We spent two nights and didn’t want to leave! Also, breakfast was amazing

We had a lake view room, the first day it was so sunny and it was baking the room. Our room was unbearably hot and there was only a very small window. We had to sit with the room door open to try cool it down and so did many other people on our floor. The room was very hot all through the night.

Hotel was clean and nice. Beautiful view of the lake. The sauna was good and so was breakfast.

Great, modern and comfortable hotel. Room was big, super clean and comfy. Breakfast was great! View from the hotel (front side) is beautiful. This location is great for exploring the north part of Iceland, around Myvatn lake and part of east part of the island.

It was the best hotel we stayed in this year in Iceland. The room is comfortable, and the view is breathtaking. Breakfast is good, with a lot of choices. We also had dinner in the hotel's restaurant, and we were happy with the food also.

It was a very expensive room, and because the breakfast was not included (and was also very pricey) we ate elsewhere.

Really appreciated the coffee machine, mini fridge and safe in the room. The room and bathroom where spacious and very clean!

The music in the dining room was pretty tinny and the layout quite stark which unfortunately gave the area a less welcoming space than it could have been - reminiscent of a motorway stop dining area but thankfully rescued by the stunning view! A couple of softer touches to the table layout and new speakers might make a big difference?

The view from our room was worth the small upgrade...stunning lava field landscape across to the lake and a wonderful 'weather' viewing spot too! The weather changed every half hour (or quicker!) and it was great to watch the clouds, rain, sunlight, mist & rainbows morph & develop, either form the protection of the very comfortable room or on the veranda. Despite it being quite a large hotel the rooms were quiet and private. Breakfast was busy but there was plenty of choice and availability, including for specific diets and all enjoyed with the wonderful view. A great hotel for a base in the area as there is lots to see and enjoy & the staff were always very helpful & courteous. There are also a couple of good restaurants & cafés nearby if you don't fancy the hotel dinner, though the menu was good and the food very tasty.

Would have like some wider spaces to put luggage up. Ended up having to use the floor.

Although its new, the rooms are noisy, expensive There are not much restaurants around so we wanted to eat in the hotel, we could only get a table at 8pm (no issue), though kitchen closes at 9pm. We were told to hurry up, and half way the main course they gave us the menus for dessert in case we want to order.
