The pod was warm and we had a mini (mini mini) fridge. There were 3 hot tubs and a beautiful small waterfall in trolls garden. The kitchen was well equipped, but smelly

The water in the hot tubs was a bit dirty, showers don’t have any privacy, even no curtains

The location was beautiful and the breakfast (paid extra) was excellent. The staff was also pleasant.

The bedwas quite uncomfortable and showers were very public.

The location was superb! Beautiful views all round! If you have kids there is plenty to keep them occupied😄

There are only 3 shower heads in a shared cubicle, so bring a swimming costume if you’re shy! They also were not very clean I had to wear sandals to shower. Lots of washed dishes piled up on drainers in shared kitchens as no one put their things away (wet dish towels & no laundry bucket for them). Could not open the windows/doors due to the mosquitoes & the small pod got VERY stuffy overnight. Nets on the windows would have made a massive difference to our 4 night stay!

    Property response:

The communal showers are standard practice and very clean but may become wet on busy days and a holy shower for those who are ashamed. The camping pods and its surrounding is like a small village and neighbors can vary. The no see ums are a temporary problem in Iceland but better kept outside than inside.

Very comfortable pods near beautiful waterfall with nice park about trolls and icelandic legends. The jacuzzi included in the price with hot water from a natural spring was absolutely amazing after hiking for the whole day. Two nights here were splendid. Definitelly reccomend.

    Nothing!

Hot tube was really too hot, in one of them, it was also impossible to stay (and bear in mind that we love natural thermal spa and have many experiences, so it was not like we would not be used to hot water:))

This was one of my favorite stays in Iceland! I had one of the small cabins that felt more like a sauna if you heated it up. This was good for me as I had just hiked around in the rain and needed some warmth. I also didn't have a sleeping bag and was worried about the bedding situation. It was fine, I didn't need anything more than the sheets I did bring. This being the summer in Iceland, it is light all night so having a black out curtain on the window was great. And there were a few hot tubs next to communal kitchen and showers. It was a very comfortable place to stay and the 'Troll trail' hike mostly for kids was actually surprisingly interesting and pretty. I would highly recommend staying here!

No surprise here but for some reason every communal kitchen seems like it has to smell like cabbage for some reason. There were 2 kitchen areas and one was just like that but there was a second kitchen which was much less stinky. Both were clean and well maintained though.

Kitchen is tidy with many facilities. Kids like the waterfall and the back yard playground on the hill.

Need to drive the car to this resort.

Gorgeous location. The restaurant has a patio and wall of glass windows looking out to waterfalls. One of my favorite spots of the trip. The breakfast was really good as well!

I got completely destroyed by the biting flies. We had to open the windows because it was so so hot. And the bugs were the worst on the entire island. Really need to install screens or have fans available.

Clean facility: kitchen, bathroom, restroom Clear instruction at each common area Beautiful view from the restaurant Hot tube is a plus

We paid for sleeping bag and didn't use. We were comfortable with our sleeping clothes. The receptionist also helped the restaurant, so we waited long each time we needed help.
