The views and the house is very well decorated. They were very kind and helpful.

There's no washing machine for the clothes.

Fossar Villa is a stunning property in the lush landscape on the South Coast of Iceland. The house is a generous size, equipped to a very high standard and decorated tastefully. Star of the show are the incredible views over the coast near Kirkjubæjarklaustur and it's a great place to hang out and relax for a family or a group of friends. The hosts were very friendly and responsive.

Nothing negative to highlight. Of course, if you are looking for a place close to public transport and all amenities or a vibrant neighborhood, this is obviously not it.

It was really quiet, and I loved being greeted by the owner's border collie.

it was farther from the places we wanted to visit than we were thinking when we planned it. but that's only an issue depending on where you want to visit.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa! The facilities were great, especially the bathrooms/shower and the kitchen.

We loved the quiet remote setting. Lovely views. Enjoyed wandering the trails down by river and across fields - hoping we weren't trespassing on anyone's land. I had a few questions for owners, and was very promptly and helpfully answered each time.

The only thing I missed was having somewhere to hang up and dry our outer clothes. Since we didn't need much heat we didn't have a good source for drying.

Great space for a group of six. Views were exceptional.

The hot water tank did run out once, but that was no surprise. The description was clear on that topic.

It was a nice middle ground location on the south coast and perfect for viewing the northern lights!

Great location between attractions. Remote, quiet, clean, spacious. Neighbor's dog, Deuce, was a delightful visitor. No fuss check in and out. Full size house.

Would be helpful to have more drying racks for clothes or a washer/dryer, as there are so few laundromats in Iceland. But I'm nit picking. This place was great.

Spotless and spacious

The gravel driveway is very long and very bumpy

Very comfortable villa, well equiped, and wonderful and generos host .

Spacious, clean and modern house. A truly comfortable experience. Smart TV and reading area was the cherry on top. The hosts are responsive to all the questions, and are quick to provide any missing supplies.

Extra toilet has no lock

This was our favorite place on our trip and we're glad we spent two nights here. It was modern and clean, with a good kitchen, large and comfortable living room, and heated bathroom floor! Views were wonderful and we enjoyed the privacy while still being only fifteen minutes from Kirkjubaejarklauster. They separated trash from recycling, which is much appreciated.

The villa is very neat and clean. It is very spacious and very ideal for family. It has a very friendly dog that guides us for parking to welcome us. It also has a beautiful scenery. Worth for money.

Lots of room for our large family in this clean, modern home! The kitchen was great for our group and we enjoyed playing games in the family room!. We appreciated the updated fixtures in the bathrooms and smiled at the friendly dog!

The villa itself is big enough for a big groups. The environment outside is clear in the big farm and proper to spot the northern light.

The bedroom is quite small. It only fits with one big language to be opened.
